  • Interests: I'm married to a beautiful lady. I like to lift weights and run. I play poker and win. I spend as much time riding as I can! I go to work every day and work too many hrs. I'm aggressive! And all of this makes me happy. I'm here to quit the one thing I hate about myself, my addiction to chew. It has ruled me and I wont be controlled anymore!

This site can help you kick your nicotine habit to the curb. We don't use words like try or hope as they are just another excuse for our addictive brains to tell us another lie. There are no short cuts, but here are some links that will help you navigate this site.

This a NO NICOTINE site. End of discussion. Why this Site Works

Biggest thing to do is get acquainted with this site.

Highly recommend you go here: Welcome Center, Getting Acclimated, What to Expect   Top Ten List

Your quit Decision MUST be 100% about you. Anything short of that sets you up for failure by allowing your addict brain to blame a given situation as reason for you to go back to the can. Quitting out of fear of a medical issue fades as soon as the doctor or dentist gives you a clean bill of health.

Be determined about this - haphazardly wishing and hoping for luck isn't gonna cut it here-

Glad you decided to come back and really QUIT this time. For starters you need to post roll daily in the October 2013 Quit group so you can be accountable. Getting to know your fellow quitters also adds a layer of accountability. Secondly mixing Booze and quitting more often than not results in failure as you hopefully learned the hard way. Using the chatroom is also a big quit aid. If follow the steps we have here as prescribed you will quit and stay quit!!!! If my weak ass can do this so can you! Now let's get started by posting your promise to stay quit for the day!!!

My quit quit
« on: June 26, 2013, 10:11:00 PM »
Hey fellow quitters. I did my first quit 1/1/2013 and ruined it on 4/20/2013 because I thought putting myself in a position with other non-quitters and an abundance of alcohol was the best situation to be in when fresh on the quit.

Back in January I used this site (never posted) and chat for support and received so much that it actually made my quit quite easy and actually fun. My problem was (and why I re-started) is that I left this site and denied the importance of being a part of it to maintain my quit.

Here I am, I'm back and ready to make my quit my bitch. No excuses, no failures and no more tobacco.

Good luck to everyone, I look forward to building quality relationships and lending support to whomever would like it.

Quitters 4 Lyfe!! :D
