Hey everybody!
I’m new here and I want to be done with dip for good! I’ve had a couple stints where I quit for 2 months and 3 months but those dang cravings always get me. I realized that when I’m held accountable it’s much easier to lay off the stuff so finding this forum was a blessing! Starting right now I am done and I am hoping all of you can help me through this! Thanks guys and gals!
Welcome Eagle!
The first step is to go to the November 2019 Pre-HOF Quit Group (
https://ktcforum.org/index.php?topic=15766.0) and post roll. Head over there and we will help you out. Posting roll is our name and day count along with our promise to not use nicotine in
any form for the next 24 hours. We post roll right away in the AM when we wake up so we are bound by our word the entire day.
One point of clarification I would like to make - we don't quit for good here at KTC. We quit 24 hours at a time. We can only control today and when fighting an addiction, that is enough to handle at any given time. Let tomorrow take care of itself.
It's kind of funny because when I joined this site 1,200 days ago, I titled my intro "Hoping to quit for good". It's only a couple intros down from yours here. Go have a look starting at page 1. Lots of good input from the vets in mine that I think you will find helpful.
Congrats on making perhaps the best decision of your life!! Enjoy the freedom of being QUIT today.
