It all started my senior summer of high-school getting ready to go to college, and for about 8 years he had a tight grasp on everything I did. I want to take this time to not talk so much about the times when I dipped. I would like to talk about the times ahead of no dips. Like many of you, during the first 100 days you've probably done tasks/jobs/get-togethers/parties/golf trips/fishing trips/ all sorts of things without a dip that you were so used to doing with a dip in that you didn't even think it was possible to even partake in anything without one. That's one of the coolest things about our quits I think. We got so used to having a dip in during said activity that we thought it was nearly impossible to do something without one. Talk about a head-fake.

Speaking of mind games...boy does that nic-bitch really mess with you head. For me the first 30-35 days were a complete nightmare of anxiety, stress, and just mind games in general. I don't know what it was because every stoppage I had in the past it wasn't even half as bad as this time around. Maybe it had something to do with a global pandemic and quarantine, or maybe it was the fact that I was for real this time. I was quitting my addiction and that was it. Whatever sort of hell my body and mind wanted to put me through was 100% worth it. I mean heck I might as well do something while I'm stuck inside for 3 months.

This brings me to my next point. GaGers, we might not have been the most chattiest group on here but we are probably one of the most unique. We quit an addiction that we all had during an absolute cluster-f*** of months that 2020 could throw at us. I know one thing I am very proud that I will be able to say and I hope you all are able to say this too, but in 10years when someone asks "What did you do during your time in quarantine?" let's all say "I was able to quit my nicotine addiction once and for all during COVID."

Last but not least. As I mentioned before, this was not my first stoppage in quitting. I have tried a couple times in the past 8 years with no success. I can 100% attest that if it was not for KTC and posting roll every morning I would not have made it this far. This awesome KTC group will text you if you forget or even if you get bumped to remind you to quit for the day. Again, KTC thank you. Thank you for helping me stand firm in my quit. THANK YOU KTC.
