I have been chewing the bear for 19 years, including today and I plan on today being my last day. Which is why I am here. I have never been able to quit on my own and have come here for the community support of people who have succeded in ridding there lives of this shit.

Where do i get started? 100 days would be in January so do i start roll tomorrow here? index.php?showtopic=7170

Also, I have never had a problem with the loss of nicotine. I have serious problems with the oral addiction. In the past I have tried gum, seeds, toothpicks, etc... So im looking for help in that area. If you used something to replace the oral fixation what was it?
I'm newer than you but welcome rbaur. I just wanted to answer your last words regarding replacing chew so to speak. I use Smokey Mountain herbal snuff, I assume it's Ok as there is a link from the main page to herbal chew sites. Good times ahead, stay strong and together we win. ScottG

Hey folks... I'm working on a KTC project where I need some input from current/active duty military folks.  Please email me if you'd be interesting in lending a hand.  Just need a bit of your time.

Please spread the word to other military folks on the site.

Thanks,
chewie

Hey - if you are quit your day 1 is NOW. Go ahead into the Jan13 quit group (you were correct on this) and post your day.

Also jump into the intro thread and create a topic for yourself. Introduce and tell your story as you will find those who are similar will come to you offering help. That intro thread then can be your book to keep throughout your quit.

get ready for the wild ride, and welcome to the best decision of your life.
