Got my mind made up......started when I was 15 and I'm turning 50 on the 19th of June.....So, the 18th will be my last day.  This is it baby, no more having to run to 7-11 at 11 PM, no more having to find my can at 4 in the morning when I wake up to pee, no more sore lip.  I've fuckin had it.  wish me luck?

Im glad to see that it's certain that I have balls. I most certainly do and I think anyone on this site that has made the commitment to be a quitter must have some sizable balls as well. Maybe just not as big as mine. LOL. Anyways, its great to be here and know that we all have help when we need it. Day 2 and going strong. This Bitch is the toughest Bitch around but her Fat Ugly Ass is going DOWN. FUCK YOU NIC BITCH.

It's day 8 for me, about to be day 9 in 1.5 hours.... My mouth fucking hurts... Why? There are no sores or anything and the pain feels like its in the bones like right where my teeth should be sitting in them... Cause for concern or cause for relief? Idk... but I also know day 8 was a rough one. Definitely got hit hard with the cravings, and my mind always goes to this scary place of like "if I take one dip now ill be alright, it's only one hiccup" or "hey if I take a dip I don't have to tell anyone and can keep going" ... Ultimately I talk myself out of it because I can't lie to the guys in my quit group. They trust me, and I trust them. If either of us betray that the whole relationship will fall apart... plus we have had too many cavers since I joined 8 days ago... AH I hate this shit... sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I just figured it was pretty general

Eor my mouth hurt so bad for about 4 weeks I was sure that I had quit too late! My tongue hurt to touch anything. Went to the dentist 2 times and Dr. once both kept telling me that I was fine. I'd have to go back and see when it started but I'd say from day 20 to 50 my tongue was sore and mouth ached. What we have done to our bodies over the years we are lucky if we only have these minor irritations to go through.

When you say mouth hurting and tongue sore, what exactly do you mean. I'm experiencing some of that but only in one place on my tongue. Thoughts? I'm on day 8 of my quit.

It was my whole fricking mouth. I walked around with my mouth open and my tongue out didnt want it to touch anything. It just vanished as quick as it came.
