Sort of a new thread here, but I was curious:  anyone have an issue where safari (iPad) will just sudnly close without warning.   It seems to happen when writing a pm or post reply.  All my earth shaking genius just goes POOF!   Haven't noticed this on any other site.
At times . . . But I shut her down and when it rebooted, it seemed to fix 'er.

Can you do chat on iPad? I don't seem to be able to.
No... chat is flash based so you can't access it on an Apple product (iPad, iPhone, etc.)
Yes. Safari closes without warning. I've lost several self-important manifestos I was hammering out over in the politics thread.

Question: how do I turn off my iPad? Is that the suggested method of fix?
Hold down the little button on the right side opposite the end with the center button. Holding it down will bring up the turn off iPad option. Slide yes and it will shut down. Repeat to turn on.

This is for the iPad 2.
I didn't even think about it. Same as iphone, so makes sense. Duh.
Just to throw in another wrench, Atomic Web browser (emulating firefox) crashes the same way.
Yes, my iPhone and iPad both crash while posting in Safari. Restarting does not seem to help. Been trying Opera mini, but too soon too comment.
I just recently got the iPad. I annotated a large PDF in iannotate and emailed it to myself. Now it's stuck in the outbox and I can't delete it and it won't go away when I reboot. Any ideas?
Get an Otterbox Defender for it so you won't damage it when you throw it. That's my solution for the iPhone so far anyways.

*my second retype of this comment due to Safari crashing*
It must have something to do with the mobile version of Safari because I haven't had this issues posting with Safari on my Mac. I haven't tried posting with the iphone.

Haha Yota, I also have the Otterbox case for my phone because it gets tossed pretty often. I have a love/hate relationship with Apple.

Jake's Mint Chew
It's drier than the other herbal chews out there. I'm comparing it to Smokey Mountain since most have tried that. Doesn't have the cayenne pepper or guarana, still has a little tingle in the lip though. No need to pack, its very easy to get a pinch. NO MESS AT ALL which is a big plus as the others are sticky.

The feeling in the lip is perfect, doesn't fall apart (I'm on 30 min. right now with the same dip, stays together better than the real thing). There is only a *hint* of wintergreen flavor which is the biggest downfall. Smokey Mountain has it beat on taste but it still doesn't have a *bad* taste either. It's just not as good as Smokey Mountain in this 1 area.

For me, this is a 9/10. Only thing that would make it a 10 would be taking Smokey Mountain's flavor.

Wintergreen - slight taste of wintergreen, can taste mint after a little while.
Cherry - can taste slight bit of cherry but like most fruity gums, it runs out of flavor FAST then it has no taste. Don't recommend this one.
Cinnamon - this is for the people that love the burn/tingle feel!! It tastes like a stick of big red but not quite as strong... the burn is the same but feels like tobacco. I also like it because it doesn't make me want the real thing at all. One person said they couldn't chew this because it was too close to the same well, I dont recall a cinnamon chew so this would be one I'd recommend...for everyone.

I have "Licorice", "Mint Straight", and "Spearmint" to try as well. I'll give flavor reviews for them after I try them.

Hey guys! Got my Jake's Mint Chew. I wrote a bit about it and made a video so everyone could see. Sorry I'm not the greatest person to watch or listen to but hopefully it gives some guys an idea what the stuff is since there isn't much info about it. It's personally my favorite!!

Check out the vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CrkKW9LXo7o

I'd rather dip this the rest of my life if I have to then deal with the nic bitch! STAY QUIT!

Question about avatars . . . .where's the best place to get them. gmann's is super cool.

Mine's a freaking clover. I gotta get cooler than that.

Suggestions??
Google "something" + avatar.

Like if I loved Spiderman.

Anyone know where I can order a can of Jake's Mint Chew by a can?  All I see on the site is rolls.  Chewie's review got me interested in trying but don't really want to buy a whole roll if I don't have to.  Anyone else have an opinion on the stuff??
Rated, WalMart sells 'Smokey Mountain Wintergreen' which is pretty good. I dipped mint, and this was the easiest/closest to mint I could find and I actually like it.. Pretty good texture to it, isnt dry..
If anyone has a good site they've ordered from, don't be afraid to share the love!!
Yeah, I tried Smokey Mountain as well and LOVE everything about it except... the "energy" boost. I use to dip to relax so I'd rather have something without the guarana. Other than that, it is the best stuff I've tried. Maybe I'll just buy the roll on Jake's site that has each flavor to try..
As far as I know Jake's only comes in rolls. That said, I'll reach out to the owner and see if there's another alternative. Will let you know.
Sweet deal! Thanks Chewie.
