Anyone thinks this quittin shit doesn't work just head over to April 06's roll call today. Four quitters (maybe more) all hitting 1,000 days quit today.

speaking of our good buddy odt, i got a text from him this AM.

the power at his place came back last friday and his kids went back to school on monday. he still has no power at work and no internet service but all in all things are GREAT!

i had considered sending this to jmr in a pm, but i started thinking of it and thought it was really important for everyone to remember why we're here... ACCOUNTABILITY... posting roll on a daily basis isn't just something that i do... it's a promise that i take very seriously.

when i rolled in here for sunday roll call, i made a post in oct 06 letting everyone know that i was proud of myself for smelling it and turning it down... immediately grinn jumped on my back and told me to get my head out of my ass... i didn't need to prove anything to myself or to anyone by playing with fire like that.  when i first read that post i was pretty taken aback, but then i realized again why this site works... it's cause people like grinn are out there to tell you the way it is... thanks grinny... love you!!!

ladies and gentlemen ~~ your fight isn't over... this site is and always will be about quitting tobacco... we have started friendships and relationships that transcend dip, but we must always remember that we've got a common ENEMY and that's why we're friends.

both of these incidents have strengthened my resolve.... chew is NEVER going to get back into my life... i've worked too damn hard to get to this point in my quit... i've bitched at too many people and i won't let them down.

here's to being dip free in 2007!!!
