Proud Quitter
When I was seven - I quit Girl Scouts. I didn't like the outfit.
When I was ten - I quit Chorus. My father told me I couldn't sing.
When I was fifteen - I quit Dynamics tryouts. ( Dance Competition ) I didn't believe I would make it anyway.
When I was nineteen - I quit dreaming of becoming a famous writer. I was brainwashed into thinking I'd amount to nothing.
When I was twenty-four - I quit talking to my father. Even though I dislike him, I haven't seen/talked to him in twelve years.
When I was thirty-six - I quit smokeless tobacco. - I finally wanted to quit something that I could be proud of.
Why not be a proud quitter? Say No to Tobacco ... Today!
MLS,
Girls Scouts suck, it's all about selling cookies nowadays anyway.
Sing your heart out, as loud as you want, if it sounds good to you, that's all that matters. (Just have some earplugs ready for innocent bystanders.) :)
I can't dance, but I bet you can.
You are a talented writer, persue it.
Call your Dad, not for his benefit, for yours.
And yes, you should be proud of yourself. :D
