It seems like a lot of the facts presented here about the dangers of smokeless tobacco are unfounded.
Can you please show me which facts and your evidence to the contrary?
I don't know exactly where the page is but it talks about fiberglass being in dip, when that isn't true, all the stories of those getting cancer, blaming it on dip when consuming alcoholic beverages plays a huge role is getting mouth cancer as well, things like that. I mean I'm not saying dip is good for you because it isn't, but it seems to be a lot safer than some of the other tobacco products.
So, your whole reason for saying we are liars is because there is an urban legend (that you can't point to here) that fiberglass is in the product?
Can you offer evidence that using nicotine (in any form) does not raise your chances of getting cancer, raises your blood pressure, etc?
Finally, I don't care about what is the "safest" product. I spent years with that addictive weed, and I will tell you I regret it. Not once do I regret quitting it.
How long you been chewing bud?
I don't 'chew'. I've dipped for a total of like 6 months in my entire life, 23 years old, have probably dipped a total of 10 cans in my lifetime, so hardly any at all. So wait, nicotine is the problem now, not the tobacco itself? Where is there scientific evidence that nicotine causes cancer?
So, if this is so unimportant to you, why are you here trolling our site?
I never "dipped" for the joy of it. That just happened to be my preferred vehicle. I dipped because I was (and always will be) addicted to the drug (nicotine). I enjoy being free from its grip.
This is an "extreme" quitting site, my friend.
You don't have to agree with our methods, but I will tell you this:
Nicotine is a highly addictive chemical.
Quitting is very difficult and scary.
Quitting on your own yields a 5% success rate.
NRT is not effective to quitting smokeless tobacco.
We yield a 25-30% success rate with some simple rules: Post roll, keep your word, and repeat.
You are more than welcome to be here, but you must be nicotine free. To play on our playground, we require you to post roll (how many days you've been quit). We require you to keep your word today.
