Day 3 seemed very bearable so I think to myself: I've got this whooped. Woke up today on day 4 feeling like the epitome of shit. I must be a huge dumb-ass to get complacent on day 3. Oh well, ODAAT I got this thing. One positive is that I don't feel like I have to shove sunflower seeds or jolly ranchers in my face as much as the first couple days, maybe I'm starting to cope with the whole no oral-fixation thing. Anyway, I appreciate all the support on here, you guys are the backbone of my quit no doubt about it.
ODAAT, no other way to go.

Sleep.
Wake up.
Post roll.
Take first breath.
Piss.
Shave.
Shower.
Live your life (work/play/etc.)
Dinner
Sleep.
Repeat.

Insert one free step into your life to remove the poison. It's free. Did I say it's free? There is no infomercial to buy a box at $19.99, but wait, we toss in another at the same cost.

It's free. Post roll. Use the tools afforded to you. Win. Each. Day.
You are not miraculously cured after 3 days. There is still alot of fighting left to do.

There will be ups and downs. Just make it through today, and tomorrow will be what it is supposed to be.

Hang in there. It will get better. Just takes time.
Truth go start yourself a intro in that section and keep track of your journey there, it's kind of a journal to help you remember the shit you go through so you don't forget and cave.
Truth, I think about it as a long climb out of a dark cave. The beginning is the steepest and then it flattens out in time. The good times get longer and the bad times get shorter and farther apart. You have to just keep going to find out whats up there in the light. Keep Quit!

Today is Day 21 for me - I'm feeling great, have had a few rough days along the way, but the one thing I've noticed these last two weeks is the fact I keep waking up 30-45 minutes before my alarm goes off in the morning. I'm not sure if I'm to the point yet where I'm back to my normal sleeping habits (used to be an early riser) but I feel like I'm getting there.

Anyone else experience this, and if so, for how long?
Your brain is rewiring. Neurons and gray matter and whatever else are getting used to the fact that they have to operate without a poisonous substance ruling the roost. More than likely, there's more than just your sleep habits that are different, you just haven't noticed them yet.

Will you go back to sleeping like you did pre-quit? Can't say for sure. You are both anatomically and mentally changed now. New combination of person and being.

Day 3 like a boss, why don't you PM your quit brother The Truth and exchange numbers. Keep each other accountable

Thanks for the ideas on the tobacco-free chew fellas. I have another question for you guys. I will post roll for day 3 tmrw morning, I've heard this can be one of the most difficult days. Tonight has been the worst of my quit so far. Although nothing on this earth could make me relapse, I am just a little nervous about the next couple of days. My question: Which points during your quit were the hardest? And when did you start to see the light, or in other words, when did "the fog" lift? Thanks for all your help!
Everyone's different The Truth. It felt like forever to me but was about a week in the funk. For me, posting roll, reading others going thru the same as me and others that had been there was the most help. You can't kick it alone, that's where roll comes in and I was/am scared some of my buds in My Feb class would literally whoop my ass if I caved. Worked for me.
The hardest time is the first 3 days, after that it is all mental. Don't worry, stand up and embrace it, embrace the suck. It will make you stronger.

ODAAT truth, don't worry about what to come, think about today, think about kicking that current crave's ass.

Hey guys this is an unrelated topic, and I apologize if it is misplaced on the forum, but I had a question about the tobacco-free chew that is listed on the website as a smokeless alternative. I've heard a lot of good things about a couple of the brands like Smokey mountain and Hooch, but I'm unsure where I could get them. The site gives some places that sell, but I live in Kentucky and am nowhere close to any of the listed stores. Does anybody have any ideas as to where I could try to pick up a can of this stuff? I tried a few places here locally and they all look at me like I'm nuts when I ask for tobacco-free chew.
Try Walmart for smokey Mountian.
