You got this. We got your back. Reach out bro. Shit hits the fan there are folks that know exactly what you are going through. Every thought. Every impulse. We've all seen them. Remember you are not alone.

I was late but I posted roll for Day 1.. It was a tough day, got the shakes and was a little hazy but I nutted up and made it..
Spoke to a few members on the live chat who were also very helpful, so thank you!!
Onto Day 2!!!
Like, you, I am a baseball player, albeit one without knees since I was a catcher for 23 years. I'm also on Day 257 today, andthis is not my first quit. I quit for three years when one day I decided, oh, maybe one dip... CRASH.....

Stop for good and chew sunflower seeds on the field. They make them in pickle flavor now.

I guess I said some of the wrong things, my apologies.. You're right, I have still been using the nicorette gum so in reality I haven't 'quit'..
Having said that, today marks the first day I am without any form of nicotine.. Thanks for the replies, and look forward to reading further in the forum
Then get your ass in the May group and post roll! I quit with you today!
Welcome!
Good job. Great decision. Glad you are here.

Ok Dale...

I'm going to take a little different approach here with you. Why? Becuase you are so special? Nope, just because I want to switch things up a bit.

Quitting is a LOOOOOOONNNNNNNNGGGGGG process. You need to be willing to take the time to do it right.

Do yourself a favor...take your time and read through a lot of the information on this site.

You will learn a good bit...like, as long as you are using nicotine in any form, you cannot call yourself a quitter on this site. I realize you seem to have said that you "USED" the gum then used tea - indicating that maybe you havent been using the gum.

Second, you shouldn't be getting a nicotine fix from tea...caffine, yeah...
And if you are still seeking the nic fix, this is the wrong place to be.

And finally, if you read a lot on this site you will learn and LIVE by the fact that we do not "wish luck" on any quitters. This thing called quitting has not a damn thing to do with luck. It's about "blood, guts and nuts."

Come on back and post more after reading a bit and making sure this is the place for you and after making certain that you are nic-free. Then I'll welcome you aboard.
Blah...Blah...Blah...You keep TALKIN....I'll keep QUITTIN

I'm not here to make friends, I'm here to support YOUR quit.

I see you have been snooping in here... read wooley's and syndrome's posts.

Man up! Tell us you are quit with all forms of nicotine. You are just prolonging the addiction and withdraw.

Just one day. Tell us you are quit for one day. Don't worry about tomorrow. We'll let you know what the plan is tomorrow when tomorrow comes.

Matt
