Hey Ladies... Busy as shit last few days! This is a very good thing for me being self employed! Still for me, real busy = craving.. Today  more this afternoon was BAD! Made it through again, however.. then I drove by the local BP/Baccer Shop (all you Yankees  Yuppies - Baccer is what rednecks call tobacco) Roll of Grizzly $8.99! I don't even like Griz and I was like DAMN! Now this evening.. No biggie! So what about the rest of you Sept Quitters? Any ya'll getting some KINGSIZE craves hitting you in the late 60s early 70s? Thx Boys!! for all the support and kind words! Carumba - Sorry Man I should've explained... In KY we are some bad asses! We quit and have babies! If we don't quit and have babies we have dip babies (have you heard of crack babies - well this was a dip baby!) As you know my cousin hasn't quit yet so guess what? he had a dip baby.. I quit with the rest of you that struggle just like I do sometimes.. But you keep coming back.. posting up - making a promise  QUITTING LIKE FUCK!! I am with you! Gooch

If the drama is getting you down, walk away from it and read something else on the site. Posting early definitely is a great plan because pretty much everyday you will have some type of crave.

The most amazing part of your post is your cousin. He had a baby ???? wtf man what part of the world are you from ? Where I'm from dudes can't have babies.

Way to fight Gooch. It takes a REAL FUCKING man to step back, think logically, weigh everything out, and make the right decision. A fucking coward runs to the store, buys a can and fills his lip with cat shit that will kill him thinking it will solve the many problems life throws at him. I was that coward, didn't realize it then but I really was. For the past 73 days I've been a man, and I fucking love being a real man.

I was in that place the other day as well. I didn't hesitate to go to the store and buy some Smokey Mountain. Put a couple pinches in and boom, the bitch was gone. Don't be too proud to use a crutch if you need to every now and again. Don't tempt fate.

Gooch, I've been there, and I think we've all been there lately, but when the bitch visits me, I look at her differently now. Sure you (think) the dip would be great, but the others factors far out weigh this silly thought. Enjoy the new addition to your family, hopefully your cousin will see the light. I was told by my dentist to get a gum graph. I have one area under one tooth that has pulled back. It doesn't hurt or bother me. I've been on the fence for some time, but now that I'm quit I'm thinking about it again. After reading Gooch's story It makes me nervous. My dentist, and I'm sure most always recommend the most expensive procedures, so I wonder if it's even necessary? I know it won't get worse, as I'm take good care of my teeth now.

Yeah Mike I love the way you lay it out there! We can't have any candy coating how serious this nicotine addiction is. I've been having some real issues with my throat and difficulty swallowing, a cough that would not go away. I had an appointment with ear nose and throat specialist this week. The Dr ask a lot of questions didn't seem overly concerned until I told him that I was a former dipper. After I told him that he wanted to get a closer look. He ran the scope down through my nose looked at my throat. No visible problems. He then told me the samething, how difficult the addiction is to kick. "NO SHIT"!! Then I gave him. The KTC info. This is a battle for us to fight on all fronts, we can help save lives!!

not gonna lie, but gooch your story is what made me finally realize now is the time to quit when i read it 9 days ago. the story about the gum graft surgeries and all the other shit you've gone through....i said thats it, im done. i flushed my can and posted roll. i just wanted to say thanks for sharing your stories and im glad im quit with you
