Welcome Stevie! We save lives here, too, every day. I used for 25 years and this daily promise is the only thing that's ever helped me quit. Our poison of choice settles in at a cellular level and tries to rob us and everyone we love of that which is most precious but today is different. Today, freedom is ours for the taking. The antidote involves accountability but also a dose of humility, integrity and laser sharp focus, applied daily. It can be taken subcutaneously, orally, telephonically or even rectally if you prefer. It does not expire and shall be considered a standing order from here forward. Check your inbox and please don't screw it up.

That's the way man... Jump in with both feet! Tremendous accomplishment to have made it this far on your own. We can help you solidify that foundation. If you haven't yet, get up to the Welcome Center link at the top of the page. It'll give you all the whys and how-to's. Take the time to get to know people. That's where the real accountability comes shining through. Welcome in bro...
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

I Quit! I promise
« on: December 09, 2013, 01:09:00 AM »
36 years old father of 2, husband to an incredible wife. I quit my nicotine addiciton Nov 1 2013. I started using during summer baseball league in 1992. I have smoked and chewed ever since then. I used grizz wintergreen and cope. My kids beg me to stop using tobacco. I always promised to quit before they knew what I was doing, but let everyone down every time I tried. I had to go to an oral surgeon to have a tooth removed. He told me there are other tests that he needed to do. I am cancer free and tobacco free. I have eaten (devoured) 16 pounds of life savers the first month. I promise. I posted roll the first time tonight. I hope I did it right. I found KTC looking for tobacco alternatives. I have read through a lot of the forums leading up to my quit. Thank you to everyone that have added their stories and built such a wonderful collection of information. I finally joined and decided tonight that I need to post roll call so I am accountable for my actions to more than my family at home.
