I always feel like the military veterans are better at help for soldiers than super nerd here. Read this again or for the first time.

Vets, bring it. We have a guy that defends our freedom that needs a little help. Lets get it going. Thank you for your service sir and yes, hooch sucks. That said, you have permission to jam any thing in your mouth that keeps nicotine out of it.

IM BACK. I lost sight of the goal before and under bad circumstances I had to choose to give it another go. July 6th my brother was involved in a bad motorcycle accident. He lost a kidney and spleen broken leg, 7 ribs, brain swelling and tons of others and they gave him 3 peoples worth of blood over a 12hr peroid trying to stop the bleeding. So about 5 hours after the doctors werent able to stop the bleeding i made a deal with the man up above and said if you help them stop the bleeding i will stop chewing tobacco. Well hours later they were able to stop the bleeding so I then knew what i had gotten myself into. Tomorrow will be my 4th week with no chewing tobacco. The first 2 weeks werent too bad because my mind was so boggled with everything going on i didnt have a chance to think about it.But after endless nights sitting awake in the ICU, Slowley but surely it started to creep on me. I dont know how ive held up so long under these circumstances that have been this stressful but im doing it ! Lately my head seems to feel like its in a vice grip, im snappy at everyone and i just feel down right exhausted all of the time. So i bought a few cans of hooch again, but this time it really started to just taste like a piece of hay. Has anybody felt this same way about hooch ? or do they all taste hay like ?. Any input is helpful i need it !

So i think im going to actually try and quit.. ive been dipping copenhagen lc now for about 3 years.. bad habbit pick up in the Marine Corps. I just ordered the sample pack of herbal chew from hooch.. im surprised i could not find a poll for herbal snuff, or did i not look hard enough ?
You got a poor attitude soldier. When your CO gives you and order, does he use words like "think" or "try"? No. He uses words like "KNOW" and "DO". Get rid of the ambiguous words in your vocabulary in regard to your quit.

2nd...This is no fucking "habit" you have. It's a full blown addiction. You are an addict.

Repeat after LOOT, "My name is CJ013. I am an addict. I know this. I am here to quit...and quit I shall. I have no choice. Failure is not an option".

Now. You need a Quit CO because as a Marine, you must be good with orders.

Learn How to Post Roll Call here.

However, before you do...Learn WHY we post Roll Call here.

LOOT can assign you a Quit CO, if needed. You'll have many volunteers.

There are many people here who will care about you and your quit. They will nurture both. They will save your life, if you let them.

Get your mind right soldier or you are doomed to fail. Get a CO, take it seriously, and you will be free.

Thanks for your service. Seriously.

Never again, for any reason.
Loot,

He's not a Soldier. He's a Marine. Soldier's are in the Army.

CJ0311,

There are quite a few service members that are a part of this site, and we are all here for the same reason. This is just like any of the training that you have ever taken part in, We are here for you, as long as you are here for yourself.

Ok Marine. Here we go.

First, we don't 'try' to do shit here. We fucking do it.

We are a 100% cold turkey site. Every day we make our promise to each other that we will NOT use nicotine in ANY form. We keep our word. We repeat.

Get your ass over the June 2011 and post your Day 1.

Then, get over to

Then go Tun Tavern and introduce yourself to your fellow Marines here.

If you need anything, PM me.

I'll be watching for you in June.

Go.
What is your major malfunction?!?!?!?!
