Welcome, Frog! Glad to see that you found some nuts. You have made the first move. That tells me your brain realizes the danger being done by your addiction. Your body will try to overcome that as the withdrawals get progressively stronger. You have to get your head in the right place now, before you get deep into that funk. Decide right now that quitting is THE MOST IMPORTANT thing going on in your life. It has to be that way, at least for a while.
What that basically means is that you have to rebuild your life and all your activities for a while. I steered away from certain friends, ignored some coworkers, stayed away from hobbies that encouraged dipping, stopped drinking, took different routes to work, etc. You need to sit down right now and write down your biggest triggers. Then plan on how you'll handle them. Have plenty of numbers handy that you can text or call when the shit hits the fan. Be prepared for the mood swings and don't take it out on your family and friends. They did nothing to deserve that. Bring your rage here. We like to see it, because it means you're still quit.
The next 3 days will suck bad. After that, it gradually gets easier. I give you my word that it's worth the fight.
