So as in life, NeonPanther had some struggles during his quit at KTC. Ultimately, he had to move on but he dug his heels in deep, built a network of support and has impressed me on a daily basis. He stated to me just the other day that KTC works...period...he followed the guidelines and rules even as an outsider looking in and here we are celebrating 100 days!!!!!

Today we visit the land of unicorns and rainbows – a place where NeonPanther (aka Aaron) has built a house of quit that has survived many a storm and come out strong!
Aaron started his journey by blasting the cold turkey method! Yep, nicotine had it clutches in this boy and he wasnÂ’t letting go easily. After a lot of kicking and screaming, Aaron gave up and quit! He made a strong impression on all of us and became an important part of our brotherhood accountability support system starting in the early days of his quit. Alcohol and some bad decisions caused Aaron to succumb to nicotine and restart his quit, but those mistakes ended up being a big blessing for him. He gave up the bottle, and restarted a very VERY strong quit 100 days ago. Each of us have been blessed to be a part of his journey.
Aaron lives in the Sahara (we call it Nevada) several miles outside of Las Vegas where he drives a camel to work each day. Just kidding about the camel. He works in healthcare and has a wonderful wife and family. His family has been very key in his quit, and they have seen the positive difference that dedication to the plan can bring to the family. The apple of his eye is his 2-year-old, and he loves being a Boy Scout dad that builds model cars!
In his spare time Aaron loves spending time with his family. He is an avid biker (Moab = nirvana according to this bad ass cyclist) and has reaped the benefits of a strong diet and exercise program along with his quits to build a leaner, meaner NeonPanther. When he isnÂ’t sneezing with allergies, he loves to lay outside at night with his wife and kids and look at the stars or funny colored moons over the Nevada sky.
On this, his 100th day of freedom from nicotine, the members of AaronÂ’s support team (Spartanron, MThomas, Jake Frawley, Worktowin, ParadigmDawg, Applejack, Zeno, Brettlees) would like to take a minute to thank him for helping strengthen each of our own quits by being an inspiration and leader; by taking a challenging situation and turning it into a real win for all of us; and by being a part of our daily accountability.
Brotherhood + Accountability = SuccessÂ…
Today is the first big milestone Aaron will celebrate by practicing this winning formula. Congratulations – the only thing better than posting today is posting a +1 tomorrow!
