I see a couple of you guys are crazy haha. I had 100% post rate for a while, but it hit a point where it no longer done anything for me. That, and I didnt have enough time to post to really make any relationships with anyone, like many do. But, in thruhiking there's a saying to hike your own hike, well that's what I did with quitting. I quit my own quit. However, this site helped through the most difficult first 20 or so days. This is why I came back to offer my number, since I feel I could help a new quitter.
BTW- My life is harder now than before, trust me haha. Just happy to be quit and making better choices.
Sincerely,
Wake tech's boyfriend 'arse'
Yeah, we are "crazy". Stfu.
You are clueless. You THINK you are helping, but your really not. And you know what, personally I don't have a huge problem if you don't want to help. Just don't front like you are.
Don't come in here and shit on our floor by telling us posting role really didn't do anything for you and you didn't have time to do it and build relationships. Wtf is that bullshit? What do you think a new quitter might think when he reads that shit?
What exactly have you been doing where you are soooooo busy you can't take a minute or two a day to post roll or encourage a few guys who might be struggling?
You offer up your phone number every 3 months...great. what if your "too busy" to help someone in need out? What, you have time to help people by phone but not on here? What if 15 newbs take you up on your offer and get your number...and say 7 or 8 are REAAALLLYYY struggling and reaching out to you on a daily basis? Will you have time to help them, or will be be so busy splitting the atom, curing cancer, and bringing about world peace
that you will get back to them in 3 months?
You're a walking contradiction.
You want to hike your own hike, that's cool. Just walk it alone and don't front like you want to help others learn to hike.
You can't be a little bit pregnant, and you can't be a little bit committed to helping people kick an addiction as brutal as this one.
We aren't crazy, we're committed.
