Welcome chiefbp, I see you posted roll today with the May group. Great! You WUPP (Wake up, Piss, Post) Every day and that is your promise to me, and the rest of your May brothers that you will not use nic for today. I will do the same to you.

You gotta take this as seriously as when you took getting deployed to the shitholes, cuz this is war. The first week will be an all out attack on your body, mind, spirit. But if you fight, claw, scratch, spend time on here, read the Words of wisdom, look at cancer pictures, you WILL get through.

It gets easier as it goes. PM me if you want my digits. I will be there (as will many on this site) to help you get through that craving.

I quit with you today bro.
To remain quit requires focus
"That we are no longer this poor little stranger and afraid in a world it never made. But that you are this universe and you are creating it in every moment. Because you see it starts now, it didn't begin in the past, there was no past. See, if the universe began in the past when that happened it was now; see, but it's still now â€" and the universe is still beginning now, and it's trailing off like the wake of a ship from now, and that wake fades out so does the past. You can look back there to explain things, but the explanation disappears. You'll never find it there. Things are not explained by the past, they are explained by what Happens Now. That Creates the past, and it begins here. That's the birth of responsibility." ~Alan Watts
feb 20th, 2017: day 1. I'm scared. First dip 28 yrs ago, regular user for 24 yrs. Want this for a lot of reasons including family, but mostly want it for me now. 24 yr military career, dip was celebrated, especially when deployed to shit holes around the world. Have tried to quit in the past but only stopped for several days, maybe a week at most. Need to get this out of my life now!
