This is your quit group link. Go post your pledge to the group not to use any form of nicotine for the next 24 hours. Wake up and repeat tomorrow.

So today is starting off good, I know I will never go back. I quit I will stay quit . I feel good but I'm gonna just stick with the promise for today. I'm a addict . Wow I never thought I would say that! It's true!
Congratulations. Now get into the August group and post roll. That is what this site is based on. Post roll and remain quit. Don't post roll and you are headed for failure.

Here are some VERY SIMPLE instructions on how to post roll: index.php?showtopic=50

Hambone,
read through one of the newbies posts he was all kinds of fucked up during his withdrawals he went to the Dr and she told him you are going to feel that way you are quitting the most addictive chemical/drug in the world.

your brain is rewiring you are anxious because you are doing things you used to do w a face full or worm dirt....you wired yourself to think oh cut the grass put a dip in...then you she (the NIC BITCH) tricked you oh I cant do these things with out dip...

If your are really freaking out about your symptoms see your Dr in the AM read through Diesels intro he had a similar story.

pm me if you need me

I had a little diffuculty figuring out how to post roll as well, not sure if you tried it but using the guide on how to post roll Here helped me out.

See you in roll call
Hambone glad to have u. Somebody will fix your roll call error. The important thing is u come back tomorrow and try it again.

Now to your question. You are quitting the most addictive drug known to man. You Have been screwing your brain for for umpteen years. Yes you are going to experience anxiety, and a whole bunch of other stuff. I recommend you do some research and learn your enemy well. It makes your quit easier when you know what your going to go through and how long it lasts. A lot of information is on this sight. take a look around. Things will Get better in time. Each day will get easier as u take it one day at a time. I quit with you today.

The poison sucks. I hate it. I hated it this morning, I hated it at noon, I hated it at supper and I hate it tonight. I enjoy hating it so much I'm going to wake up tomorrow and start over hating it. I quit with anyone that wants to hate it with me.

Yes I will attend roll call , however, I'm having a hard time figuring out how to make my promise for the day appear in the box with my quit group, I'm the one outside the box at the bottom ( story of my life)!

Ok it's been 8 days no grizzly. I can a day. I can deal with the cravings, I'm a 5 year dipper and before that a 15 year smoker. I quit last sat cold turkey. I have noticed my anxiety level is up, I don't have much of a appetite, I feel like my blood sugar drops, I have been eating fruit and small meal but I just don't feel like eating like I once did. I also feel a kind of numbness in my legs at times, anyone else ever felt this? I have read about with the absence of nicotine the blood sugar can drop. I'm fatigued and feel lazy
Seems to me that quitting nic has different effects on different people.

I wasn't hungrier when I quit, but I ate everything in sight just to lessen the oral fixation thing. If that's not you, bravo, maybe you won't find yourself 30 pounds heavier in 30 days. Although, it's relatively easy to lose weight. I hear it's more more difficult to get rid of cancer.

So, are you going to join us? I see that you have not posted roll today with the August group. I suggest you add your name to the roll HERE and make a promise to yourself, the August group, and the rest of us that you will remain quit for the next 24 hours.

That's all we ask here, and all we do. Make a promise each day to not use nicotine in any way, shape, or form for the day. Repeat tomorrow. If you want support you need to be accountable, and that starts will posting roll each morning and then keeping your word all day.
