There is something about these intros that have several posts at first, then nothing until HoF that make me admire that quitter even more. I don't know what it is, but gratz on the 100!! Totally badass!
Maybe they can't find their original post anymore cause it's buried! LOL

Perhaps a good idea for us to post our "intro article" LINK in our signature.. I noticed a lot of the vets do that... it's cool cause you can go get the story of their quit.

Quit Hard!
There is something about an intro that has several posts at first, then nothing until HoF, and then nothing again until their cave, that is very telling about what went wrong with their stoppage.
Based on the level of accountability Chochise has shown by posting a day 1 and immediately going into hiding, I would say this stoppage is off the a similar start.

Nice job trying to post roll.  Here's the process to avoid the mistake in the future:

1)  Quote
2)  CTRL + A in lower box
3)  CTRL + X
4)  CTRL + V in upper box
5)  Name and quit number goes below last quitter and above Supporters section.

All done.  In a couple days, it'll take you less than 30 seconds to post.  Whether you post properly or not, your promise still stands.  You will NOT use nic in any form today.  Me neither!
Roger that.. No Dip Today!! Thank you
You got it. Don't hesitate to reach out to others and grab numbers. They will be more than willing because they remember what it was like. Grab the NB by her proverbial balls, it's gonna be a helluva ride.
Hanging in there. Yesterday was really hard on Day 2 of my quit. Was really stressed out over some issues and found a can in my trunk. I quickly emptied it out though. I will not DIP today! Thanks again for the support.

Today I choose to quit because today is the only day I have control over today. Tomorrow is a new day and when tomorrow is today, I'll control it too, but not until then. I will win this fight with today...

Been dipping for past 22 years. Tried stopping many times to no avail. Nice to find this group with folks I can relate with.  Thanks for being here!!
My fellow nicotine addict, your 22 years and my 40 years of slavery can be reversed. For how long? For one day, Today! I struggled with this concept for months after making that move to quit. Finally I accepted the fact that I can control today, tomorrow will be a new today after I win today's battle. Post roll making a promise and keep your word today. After winning this battle then worry about the next battle. Worrying about the next battle or tomorrow takes your eye off the job at hand. Join me today in the battle.
Thank you so much for the support!! I am really thankful to be amongst you all. I feel stronger already!!

Great to have you Cochise. Lucky for you, this site isn't about stopping, but quitting. KTC is all about quitting for just today. Don't worry about tomorrow. Today is here now and is ripe for the winning.

If you haven't already, go post roll in April 2014. That will be your group as you head towards 100 day free (Hall of Fame). By posting roll, you are making a promise to yourself and the rest of your group that you will not under any circumstances use nicotine in any form today (patches and nic gum included). Keep you promise and you just won day 1.

Start reading everything you can on the site. Intros, hall of fame speeches, words of wisdom, etc. Then get some numbers from your group. The more numbers exchanged, the more the accountability builds on itself. I know it seems weird to exchange numbers with strangers, but you probably tried it for a long time trying to pick up girls, so try it again here. It's bound to be more successful than your attempts with the ladies. I have yet to be rejected by anybody on this site!

Again, glad to have you here, and even more glad you've decided that you're no longer a slave to nicotine. I quit with you today.
Thank You!!
