I received a pm from a member the other day saying to avoid the triggers that would make me want to dip. All of you have gone through the same things I am going through. How do avoid the biggest trigger of all when it's your job? I can't quit my job. Not making any excuses. I made it two days without dipping. I caved in today. My wife is very supporting of me quitting this habit. Everyone on here needs encouraged to continue staying nicotine free. Looks like I start over.
Day 1 again. There must be something in the air. You say your biggest trigger is your job. My biggest trigger was my eyes being opened. As soon as i brushed my teeth after waking i placed a big was of chew in and all day long i would make preparations for my next and then the next.

If i can post roll and keep my word daily you can damn sure do it. How bad do you want this. There is no magic trigger peel.

Here's something to think about. Quitting is worth a job change. Quitting is worth moving from one country to another. Quitting is worth whatever you got to do to make it happen. That's a fact!! Post roll and keep your word or continue being a slave. That's your choices. You got three questions to answer.
I totally agree with srans. This isn't about finding secret tips on how to withstand cravings. Your brain is screaming at you for its fix. After all its what you gave it over and over and over again. Quitting is all about DESIRE. Real heartfelt, desperate, life or death desire. You have to want to be done with it more than anything else. Wanting to quit, or knowing you should quit isn't enough. Its got to come from deep down.

One of your answers should have something to do with reading and learning about the poison. Learn about your addiction.

The poison sucks. I hate it. I hated it this morning, I hated it at noon, I hated it at supper and I hate it tonight. I enjoy hating it so much I'm going to wake up tomorrow and start over hating it. I quit with anyone that wants to hate it with me.

Forgot day 3, forgot to quit...1 whole day then he pussies out. Good bye.

I have my wallet , truck keys , my lunch box phone and holster. Oh yeah I decided to quit my dip! This is my first morning in a long time ( probably 20 yrs) that within minutes of climbing out of bed I'm not dipping.  I actually feel quite lost, as stupid as that may sound. Actually feel like I'm forgetting something. This will be a tough journey with so many "triggers" throughout the day. Here goes one day at a time!
Read the site. especially on what to expect. Post Roll so that you have a purpose. Uphold your word to your new friends and brothers in Quit. Own your quit, it is yours and yours alone. Drink water and exercise. No nicotine in any form.
Hey bro... Hopefully you rolled out of the crib wearing your pants. I saw car keys, lunch box, holster, wallet... Quitting can cause fogginess, but I am hopeful you didn't forget them because that could cause some uneasiness with non quitters. One thing I did notice is you forgot to post roll. That is about equal to leaving the house without your pants on. You need to post roll first thing in the am.

Anyhow... Hope to see you back here after work and maybe we can get a roll post. That way we know ur quit.

Post roll first thing, that way you've given your word for today. Don't leave an 'out'.
