Three weeks!  Three m-f'ing weeks!

I know it's nothing in the grand scheme of things and I'll probably be more amazed in three more weeks but I am amazed that I haven't dipped in three weeks.  I am a happy camper right now.

So far my weight has been the only casualty!  I am 6 lbs heavier than I was just 21 days ago, but so be it right?

Seems my only good craves lately are on my drive into work and after lunch on my way back to work and my drive home from work  -- When I'm driving!!!!!!

Holding strong though!
3 weeks is awesome, just remember you can always lose weight, you can't get your face back.
Brain,

Each day you quit is an accomplishment. However, 3 weeks is nothing to sneeze at. Take a look at your groups spreadsheet and look at all of the people who couldn't make 3 days.

Just keep taking it 1 day at a time and let the days add up as they may. Create your own milestones, but realize that each day you post roll and stay quit is a milestone in and of itself.

Good job sir. I look forward to seeing you quit tonight and tomorrow and I'm proud to be quit with you today. (And each day you post roll with me.)
Better to be a fat ass than a dead ass. You can fix the weight gain later. I had the same issue for the first several months of my quit. One battle at a time, bro....

Congrats on 3 weeks.
3 weeks is awesome take credit for all of your accomplishment just Like you own your addiction!

Here goes nothing! (actually not nothing... just my life! :))
Brain/Brian,

This comment is the most telling out of your introduction. You will indeed get your health and your life back. It shows the most important issue needed in your quit....that you are doing it for you. Not for anyone else.

I'm glad to be quit with you today. Let me know if I can help you out in ANY way.

I'm Brian and I'm a quitter.  I've dipped at least a can a day of Kodiak/Grizzly for approx the last 25 years.  Its time.  It's time to quit being that guy.

It been approximately 50 hours now since my last dip.  I already feel weird and different.  My wife says I look strange, keeps asking me if I'm ok.  Going to be a strange ride I'm sure.

Here goes nothing!  (actually not nothing... just my life! :))
Welcome to the jungle! Do you know the drill?

Go post roll,
Keep your quit promise
Repeat.

If you aren't familiar with the process, Pm me and I can explain.

Otherwise post roll in Your group September. Introduce yourself as the new quitter and get to meet your life support. Oh, and tell those foggy numb nuts that no nicotine means that it's still a cave if they put dip in their ass!

Again, welcome to hell. It sucks but I love being quit. You fight for your freedom from vice and it becomes a blast to beat the nic bicthes ass!

No nic site. No gum, no patches, no cigars! Anything with nicotine and you are not quit. 'na na'

Quitting is a choice. Caving in a choice. You succeed or fail by choice. Chance, luck? Not here. Save those words for the lottery.
Welcome to the freak show brother!!!

Drink the quit kool-aid and dont turn back!

I would say what your wife is telling you is well you probably look and seem a bit off from who your normally nicotene addicted self acted like or looked like!

Either way it is a good sign when you can get the really bad suck stuff out and gone quickly and start to enjoy the freedom!

PM me if you need any help brother
Welcome

Lots to read
Lots of information
Lots of support
That is KTC

Basics are:
Post roll
Quit for today
Repeat tomorrow

This shit is easy yet it is the hardest thing you will ever do

Brian my wife has been saying I look strange for 32 yrs. it may not be quit related! Seriously relax, prepare for a whole lot of SUCK and embrace every last bit of it and remember how bad it is compared to the freedom that will come along with it.
