Day 2

Thanks for the response guys! Today went ok all in all. I didn't sleep too bad last night and was ok mentally until around noon when I would take my after lunch dip. But I kept on walking through the fog. I think school is helping because I usually won't dip in class or when I'm in the library so it makes it easy to say away from it I guess. The only thing that is really pissing me off is how slow I am cognitively right now...It took me almost an hour in a half to do something that should have taken like 45 min...

Can anyone help me out and tell me where I exactly post roll? I get how to do it I just don't know where on the site. (I could have completely missed it.....I blame the fog.)

Thanks,

Larry Mangano

Awesome dude. Starve nicotine out now before she takes you on a 30 year ride. Trust me the longer you dip the harder it is to quit.nicotine has no health benefits it will only harm you and take every bit of self respect you have. This is the place to be if your serious about quitting.
Post roll with your group and get to know some guys it'll make it easier when you really need somebody to talk you down. Pm me if you need anything. You got this man. You'll have a helluva story someday.

Hello everyone!

Hello,

My name is Larry and today is my first day without a dip since my sophomore year of high school. I started when I hit varsity baseball and never put in the effort to stop.

I think everyone remembers their first dip... Mine was (of all things) Skol apple pouches. The taste was horrific but I was buzzing off my ass so I really didn't care. I remember stepping out of my car to get gas and I felt like I was drunk. My can of choice was Grizzly Wintergreen or Cope Wintergreen, but I liked how Grizzly packed better and was also a little easier on the wallet. I couldn't tell you the last time I buzzed off dip but I just really liked the taste.

My Dad quit dipping back in '92 when I was born and he said to stock up on gum and seeds so I did that after class today. Oh and if you're looking for a good seed look for Jim Beam Barbecue or Jalapeño. (I find them in Speedway in Indiana) I've spit a lot of seeds in my baseball playing days and Jim Beam knocks Davids out of the park. (see what I did there)

I've wanted to stop for about a year now and I've just kept putting it off...one excuse includes "Well, I have college finials coming up and I don't want the problem." Last night I had my last dip and I finally said "I'm done." I'm tired of my gums receding, bad breath, yellowing teeth, and the freaking cost is out of my college budget to be honest.

My first day went ok. I keep busy with school but since I've been home my brain is all weird...So if this entry is worded strange it's because I'm pretty foggy.

Thanks for your time,

Larry

*Note: I'm quitting for myself nobody else. I will keep posting!
