First, good luck on the marital issues, either way.
Now, to your other question. I dipped for 36 years, and by the grace of God am still cancer free. You never know which dip is going to be the one that triggers problems that will place more stress on you than you can ever imagine. We believe that there is never a better time to quit that RIGHT NOW!!! Any excuse you come up with to not do it is just another sign of your addiction.
As you said, either way, you want to be quit by the time your other issues work themselves to fruition. Why not sit down right now and write down all the reasons you want to quit, then get started. Stay close to KTC, read all you can, hang on tight, and get ready to start your life free from nicotine's hooks in your system.
