Welcome, quitting is awesome!

Goodevening mike, congradulations for taking the step to quit.i dip for 20 some years and today im 72 days quit.may i suggest a few pointers that work for me and may or not work for you.about a month before i quit,i started both a ketogenic and the bulletproof diet.both are similar but slightly different,i was doing a hybrid of both.the main thing i noticed was a decrease in food, hunger and sugar cravings.long story short,i only went thru withdrawls for 3 or 4 days and thats it.my other tips are, find a healthy habit to replace dip, drink some protein shakes, join a gym,eat vegatables anything to take your mind off dip.take care. Oh,im now addicted to #bulletproofcoffee hehe but thats a goodthing

Welcome Mike!

Glad to see you found March and got on roll.

There are plenty of folks who like to lurk on this site - thanks for showing them how easy it is to sign on and get committed. You took a big step towards closing the door on nicotine. Now you're accountable to your group and your word - you know not to take that lightly.

Welcome again and reach out if I can help with anything.
Awesome job posting roll. You're one of the rare ones who get it absolutely correct the first time (Lord knows I sure didn't!!).

Read as much as you can here, there's a ton of information on quitting, the fog, how to deal with it. That's pretty wicked (hey you're from Mass!!!) how you quit by yourself for three weeks. Dive right in and help your fellow quitters!

You need anything, you have my digits.....check your PM

Decided to stop lurking
« on: December 19, 2016, 06:17:00 PM »
Hey everyone, I'm Mike 27 years old from Mass. I put that shit in my lip for about 14 years, and finally decided to make a real effort to get off it. I started my quit the Monday after Thanksgiving, and have been following the site since. I decided it was finally time to join up.
