Going on day seven still going strong. The withdrawls havent been very bad which is kind of scary. I have been using the grinds and Smokey mountain fake snuff.
Welcome aboard spencer. Quitting affects everyone differently. Take time to read other peoples intros to see what they've gone thru. Just because the 1st 7 days haven't been bad, doesn't mean there aren't shitty day to come. My first 10 days were a breeeze. We were on vacation and i didn't think about dip the whole time. Then once we got home, got back into my daily routine, the SUCK really began. and Suck it did.

Post roll early and daily as your promise to yourself and to all of us here with you.

I was trying to do roll call for yesterday and somehow copied Mondays. I just joined last night
It can be tricky at first.. Most people screw it up a few times before they get the hang of it.

Don't be afraid to ask for help (with roll or anything else related to your quit).

Hello everyone my name is jordan. I quit dipping 7/3/2014. Still fighting the urges. Ordered some grinds due to being in a little western oklahoma town, not many options for non tabacco/nicotine dip.
Jordan welcome to the site. I see you posted roll on Monday and again yesterday. What happened to the days in between? If you want this site to be an effective part of your quit. The bare minimum is posting roll every day. The whole foundation of the site is we make a promise here everyday not to dip for that day. The promise is your roll call. Good luck on your quit. And what day did you quit dipping? You say in your into 7/30 but have a roll post on 6/30...what up?

Got it. Had very similar problems when I started as well. TNow that that is straight I quit with you today. Button your seat belt and get ready for a wild ride. You know the first few weeks is going to be real bear fight. But you can do this. Post roll everyday, and quit one day at a time. All of us longer term quitters know that quitting is real hard, but in a weird way it is also much easier than I thought when I started. I just kept quitting one day at a time, and every once in a while I'd notice how all my +1 days were adding up.
Jordan, Dagranger said it all " Post roll everyday, and quit one day at a time." Just keep this outlook in mind and you will be surprised where it may take you.

Jordan, post roll as early as you can, especially these early days into your quit. Glad to have you on board!

Congrats on quitting. Roll can suck but you'll get it, we all screwed it up at times. Jordan I live 70 miles from the nearest town so I get your problem. I tried lots of different fake dip. For me I settled on smokey Mountian and kept it around for months. For anyone worried about using fake, don't. After awhile I lost intrest and it wasn't wanted or needed.

Exercise helps a ton. The gym works wonders... Sit ups, push ups, running, walking... Keep moving. Lots of water helps too. The fake stuff... Some use it for a while. I didn't, but have heard that quik trip sells smokey mountain. I think that is an ok company, so there is probably one in driving distance. Call them first and then make a road trip. Get some numbers before hitting the counter though... You can never have "just one" again. You. Are. Quit.
If you're not going to keep up with roll, don't bother letting us know you're quitting. It's very very very important! You must do it everyday. I want to see you quit. POST YOUR ROLL. Promise us everyday you're quit for that day!
