Good evening brothers and sisters. Tough night tonight so I sat here and read so many posts and before I knew it hrs had past and I made it through the urges. I read some stories on here damn u people kick ass. I am so proud to be on here and I need to learn how to do roll. Feel creepy lurking haha but seriously everyone on here is the shit and you have no Idea how much I appreciate all of you
Sorry to hear it was a rough night, but glad to hear the site helped. Definitely what helps so much though is posting roll like duath said, it helps you to keep your promise no matter what happens through the day

Glad you are here and finally decided to post up. Not going to ask what you were doing the last seven days while cruising the site as the gates of hell might open up again.

Look up at the top and see the " welcome center" thingy? In there is how to post roll. Don't worry about it if you screw it up. Just announcing you are quit is what we care about. Post early everyday. Take black puss off the table.

Another day in the books quit and I have feeling better. I love the positive feedback and it took me so long to realize I was an addict. I'm good with that and every day that goes by Im kicking ass. I have not been this proud of myself in like ever and it just motivates me to be dip free longer than I dipped before I die. I'm 44 and started dipping at 20 my math sucks but I'll try. So I didn't dip for the first 20 dipped the next 24 so I'm down 4. Thank god for this site and the people who struggle with me I got your back and I plan on being here for a looooooong time
Man great stuff, keep kicking ass!

...Any advice will be greatly appreciated...
My advice:
This ^^^^^^ is laid out step by step yesican. It gets better but trials are on the way even after ten days! Get in here and quit with us, go post roll with your December brotherhood.
Stay a while yesican,, Post roll and make friends. You would be surprised at how much placing your name each day on a computer screen helps. You can not have to much accountability. Close all doors on the poison. Place your name each day and promise to us, yourself and the whole world your not going to use. That's how we do it here in quitville.
yesican,
The only advice that I see missing is that you need to Quit for you, Quit today, grow a sack, survive the suck of 4-5 days, get some phone numbers from fellow quitters.

Finally quit each day individually, do not look at a goal of 100 days or anything like that. Like a special sale your quit is for one day only, tomorrow you can choose to quit again but focus on today and today only.

Pinched
Concur with all above. My advice is to just do it... Quit! It is a decision you have to make  you got to want it. I promise you will not regret it one bit. Post roll  let's do this!
Nothing more to say here, Evil laid it all out pretty well.
Own you quit. Make it large. Keep building it until it needs its own zipcode and you can see it from space. In other words, don't just hope to remain quit, do everything you can to ensure it!
Fish, eat, sleep. Repeat.

The poison sucks. I hate it. I hated it this morning, I hated it at noon, I hated it at supper and I hate it tonight. I enjoy hating it so much I'm going to wake up tomorrow and start over hating it. I quit with anyone that wants to hate it with me.

Your in the right frame of mind, YIC. Add no matter what and post role (your promise) everyday and you can't go wrong. Drink lots of water, exercise and grab some seeds or gum. Above all else, keep your word. Welcome!

« on: September 09, 2013, 10:49:00 PM »
Good evening all, I am really enjoying this site and it has helped amazingly. I have been quit for 10 days tomorrow and going through some tough days. I've been a dipper for over 20 years and it's my time to quit. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I'm getting over being dizzy and headaches. I am inspired by all the stories and hard work everyone has put in.
