Hang in there Islander! Day 4 was when things started to feel better. At least compared to days 1-4. Drink water until it hurts. Seeds, fake dip, whatever gets you through the day man!

xxx-xxx-xxxx

Chris Griffin. Text or call if you want or need help. Only 5 days ahead of you but I'm here to say it gets better!

If that is who I think you have as your avatar, that is fucking awesome! Great movie and remember, Throat cancer got Levon. Quit on Brother!

May 9 is a great birthday, everyday is a great quit day!
Griffin, I edited your phone number. We HIGHLY recommend you don't post that kind of personal info on the boards, especially in an open thread like an Intro. Anyone can see Intros, that includes non-KTC members.

Shoot Islander a PM if you need to. Those are indeed, private.

Can't believe the level of support in this community. I've been a bit selfish getting through these past few days. Keeping to myself and reading the shit out of the intros, HOF speeches, and all the other posts.
Probably would have caved without this community. Basically for the past ten years I've been a ninja dipper. I was so good at it that barely anyone knew that I was a dipper. Have tried to stop many times but I was accountable to no one and failed time and again.
So here I am. I want it this time and this quit is going to happen. Ready for day 4 tomorrow. Anyone feel free to hit me up anytime. Not sleeping much these days anyway.
Quit with all of you today.

Welcome Islander. Drink lots of water the next few days and drink the KTC kook-aid (read, read and read some more on this site).

You'll never regret quitting.

Quit on!

Welcome to RANT man!! Remember keep posting roll daily and if you need to rant and yell thats what we are here for. Every single guy in here shares one thing in common. We know how are it is to quit, but we are doing it one day at a time.
1 Corinthians 6:12:"I have the right to do anything," you say--but not everything is beneficial. "I have the right to do anything"--but I will not be mastered by anything.

Psalm 27:5:"For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock."

Welcome man. Great choice. Best advice I can give is to post roll daily, as soon as you get up. Be accountable to yourself and to your brothers here at KTC. You will be amazed the power of this brotherhood with guys you have never met. Good luck. we are all here for you.

Just flushed the last of my dip after 25 years. I am quitting today but listed my quit day as 9/11 for symbolic reasons. That date is my oldest kid's 16th birthday.
Glad I found this site as I think this is one thing I can't do alone.
Welcome brother! Take a good look around, there is nothing but help here ... from people who have gone through or ARE going through exactly what you are. We understand, and we will offer all the support you can imagine. There is a price of admission here ... posting roll. It is your promise NOT to use nicotine in any form for the day. You need to post roll brother! Here are some helpful links, click on them and they will take you there:

How to post roll

December Quit group

Your quit group is determined by your quit date + 100 days. These quitters in December are your brothers in the fight! Jump in, post roll, build some accountability. Stay strong brother ... you've got this!
Good job. Make sure this quit is for you. Don't feel bad about being a little selfish with your quit. Lots of family men here and like you, we would lay down our lives for our children. All I'm saying is when it comes to quitting it needs to be 100% about saving your own life. It'll sink in at some point. Anyway, welcome aboard and welcome to freedom.
Welcome Islander would like to know more about you. But with a short intro I will give you a short piece of advice. Stopping dipping is easy, quitting dipping is hard. Be prepared to battle every day to stay quit. Nothing arms you for that battle more than posting roll (it's your daily promise) Thinking about my own roll post has been the difference between stopping and quitting.
