Hey all,
Just joined the forum. I'm 44 years old and been dipping since I was 14 (yep, 30 years). Had a scare about 10 years ago - had a small lump excised from my check and it was found to not be cancerous. I attempted to quit then, but it only lasted about 10-15 days. Tried half-heartedly a few more times since then but it never stuck.

Finally, March 5th, 2012 I was doing research on the internet (with a fresh dip in my mouth) about Quitting Smokeless Tobacco and found the DipStop website. I ordered there DipStop Program and 6 cans of their fake dip. I found this forum from their website while I was in search of better fake dip tonight.

Long story short, My last dip was March 5th, 2012 right after I found the DipStop website. I made it past the 3 day period and have all the nicotine flushed out of my system. I've been doing really good - only having to put the fake dip in my mouth 1-2 times a days. However the darn cravings are driving me nuts and that is why I am looking for some better fake dip.

I chewed Kodiak Wintergreen for 30 years - anybody have a recommendation as to the closest fake alternative dip I can buy?

Welcome. Fake snuff has been a huge help to me. Smokey Mountain does a good wintergreen and mint. You can order it from their website and avoid any temptation of buying it in a convenience store...great to be quit with you - WW
