Congrats on thirty-tree days! Here at KTC, every day nic-free calls for a celebration, regardless of the number attached to it. Good work, sir, and keep it up.

Hello Quit brothers,

Wanted to do an update now that I have reached 30 days nic free. It is hard to believe I have not had that shit in mouth after having it for 24 yrs, surprisingly it has not been as bad as I thought it was going to be and hearing what other guys are going through in my group, I am thankful. Do not take me wrong I have had my issues and still do, however they are getting less frequent, although more intense when I do.

I am truly thankful for KTC and my fellow Quit brothers, but I have to say, right now nothing pisses me off right now more than people who just do not get KTC and think it is a game! We just had a guy in our group that it would be cute to skip a day of posting to see if his name would be in the missing post box.

I work 10-12 hrs a day and 1 hr commute each way and find time to post every damn morning before I go to work and hear people make excuses, been busy at work, blah blah, it takes what a minute to post roll!!!!

Enough of my rant and venting, I am just so thankful I found KTC and the brotherhood that has helped and is helping with this awful addiction!

30 Days nic free- Quit with everyone of my KTC Quit brothers today!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!
Perfect! 'wave'
BAD ASS FN' MISFIT right here ^^^^^^. Proud to quit with you every day!
Give them hell brother! Damn proud to be quit with you!

Day 14, 2 weeks, longest been without in about 24 years. Finally got to sleep through the night, been about 6 nights since I have slept all night. Started taking vitamins when I quit, and right now I do actually feel better than I have in about a good 5 years. Thanks KTC and all fellow quitters (brothers).
Awesome!
Congrats on 14 days! Keep at it! You are winning today.
Nice job on 14 solid days! Isn't it wonderful? I can promise you this. It really does get better. Sleep does get messed up but it will all balance out. I like to look at it this way: "I could bitch about my messed up sleeping habits or I could be thankful that I have sleeping habits because had I not quit and faced my addiction, I could be taking a permanent dirt nap instead" It's all about perspective. Keep your quit as the most important thing everyday and your perspective will be set in the right direction all day. You know about the sleep thing, so here is another one to plan for as a possible occurrence since quitting....weight gain. Now I hear people say "OMG I've gained 20 lbs since I quit" Use that perspective and say "I would rather have to deal with losing 20 pounds than losing my lower jaw, along with parts of my tongue". See....perspective. Things will be clearer as the days go on and your brain gets to be itself again sans the nicotine and toxins!

Congrats again on 2 weeks! May your quit continue to gain strength just as your hatred for nicotine!

I'm gonna be here quitting like a girl if you need anything....

Here I am day 12 of my quit. I feel surprisingly good, though the craves are still fairly strong, I work in a manufacturing environment and had a dip in all day long except for lunch, and today was the first day I worked side by side with my boss since I quit, and oh yeah he is a dipper, so that was kinda tough. Made it through that, I am fully committed to my QUIT, my May brothers and all fellow Quitters on this site.
In breaks from school I have always worked in a factory — everyone who works there smokes. Maybe with the exception of one or two people. It took me a long time to realize I didn't need to dip or smoke to fit in with all of them. They're good guys, but I just don't do that shit anymore. Quit on brother
"Post roll. Post more if you want to. That's the beauty of the place: We ask you post roll. We ask you to be honest. That's all. No more. No less. Be there for your brothers and ask for help when you need it." - Wastepanel 10/6/14

"What would you do to save your own life? If you were fighting cancer today would you suffer through Chemo, surgeries, try new a therapy? change your diet, go to church? What intolerable hell would you endure to simply live. When you have thought long and hard about that, think on this. Why not apply that attitude to your quit. Suffer through the temporary discomfort of withdrawal to achieve your freedom from a slow painful demise via nicotine. Your in the ring already- fight like you mean it." - Skoal Monster 10/8/14
