Of course we have all planned our quits!! We all planned to quit after we graduated college, planned to quit when we got married, planned to quit when we had kids, planned to quit when we had our second kid, planned to quit after that promotion, planned to quit when we retired, planned to quit when we finished that "last" can, blah, blah, blah.
See the theme? Because we are all addicts and fighting an addiction, the addict part of our brain wants us to plan our quit because that means that we will never actually quit.
Go read my intro. It's a couple intros down from yours here. Go read my HOF speech (link in my signature). I tried to plan my quit when I joined here, I was told to dive in instantly and you know what, I did just that. 914 days (2.5 years today actually!) later, I have given my promise each and every day that I will remain quit and I have kept my word for 914 days.
Don't get hung up on the the fear of being able to quit forever. Our brains get scared since we know how hard it can be. At KTC we focus on TODAY. It's all we control and frankly all we can handle. So flush whatever you might have at the moment, and get into the February pre-HOF group (link:
