I waited until the third day to post so I could make sure I really meant it this time. Mainly because you guys are mean as shit to someone who posts first day and then doesn't go post roll
So by posting this introduction I'm saying I'm here and I'm ready for you bastards to help me get through the tough times ahead 'Finger'
My name is Jeff and I dipped for 30 years before quitting on 12/31/2013 at 12:31pm (seriously spit out the last dip at that time!)
I have figured out how to post roll today and have done so.
I am deep in the fog and feel like I'm slightly drunk or high right now. I've been trying to sleep as much as possible so I won't know how bad I feel. The biggest issue I've had is this time warp I seem to be in where hours pass by and then I look at the clock and its only been a few minutes.
I'm here and I'm committed to NO NICOTINE!
Apogeeammo 'Remshot'
Hey apogee. I spent my first three days eating jolly ranchers and taking Tylenol pm. I chewed for 23 years. I didn't think I could quit. I had tried. Believe me when I tell you that lots of us ahead of you have done it and you can too.
Read the welcome info. The read the hall of fame posts. Stay online and read read read. Get phone numbers. I have a group of 8 who we all text back and forth. Pm me and I'll give you my number.
Figuring out that many of us have gone through the exact same stuff saved my ass. If he could quit so could I.
Jolly ranchers. Atomic fireballs and smokey mountain fake chew. I've quit the jolly ranchers and the fire balls. I still use the fake stuff. It saved me. You can order a sampler of 5 or 10 from their website. Free except for shipping. Walmart sells it too.
The first bit will suck. Fog. Lethargy. Anger. Little nic bitch lies and whispers. Drink lots of water. Find an activity to sink into. Sleep. I used Tylenol pm and NyQuil every night the first week. My son still laughs about the mound of jolly rancher wrappers in front of the computer.
Stay strong and stay on here. You can quit. Just quit one day at a time. You can do anything for one day. Then I'll do it with you tomorrow.
