Our first stop today is in the bluegrass state and he had this to say for himself:
"Hello November 2013 Sky Divers !!! Construction24$7 from Louisville, KY. What a great first 100 days quit this has been !! I am married to a beautiful Russian woman and have a 7 year old daughter. I own a Construction/Property Management Company, drive a black F350 Dually and slept with the Nicotine Bitch for nearly 30 years. I should have never trusted her, or any other American woman for that matterlol. My avatar come straight from the movie Bad Ass. Check it out on Netflix. My favorite movie would have to be Wallstreet. I will celebrate my HOF status with a T-bone cooked on my new Weber which was purchased from the $$ saved from not dipping. My advise to a new quitter would be1 problem + nicotine = 2 problems. Many people on this board have influenced my quit including worktowin and others. Life on the other side of the coin has freedom, freshness and worth living every minute of it. When I board the train I will be bringing the finest Russian Vodka available to share with my quit brothers !! I will sign up for 200 days. Cheers and thanks to the pioneers that paved the road before us."

Congrats on your 100 days Construction!
You have been and continue to be an inspiration to me and many on this site. Congratulations on reaching hall of fame! This is only the beginning, as life in the next hundred, two hundred... days gets so much better. It is awesome to see what you have accomplished, and I thank you for bringing me along for the ride.

Tonight I would say that I would celebrate by going for a horseback ride, but it's a little cold here for that. Instead I'll break out the stoli and raise a glass for you! Congrats man - I couldn't be any more proud for you!
Congrats Construction. It has been an honor to quit with you to this point and it is even more an honor that we will continue this quit together. Thanks for sticking around and protecting your quit with us here.
As I sit here on my HOF day I am looking at my new shiny gold coin and am really loving life. The KTC way is a win/win situation all the way around. I have made a lot of really cool, supportive friends and killed the nicotine bitch for yet another day. It's funny how a group of strangers can have such an influence on a life. Tomorrow I will post a HOF + 1. From one BadAss to another, THANK YOU ALL and Happy Holidays !!!
Hey 24/7. Glad to see that you busted through all of the shit and stayed on for your HOF. Hope to see you in the future!!! I am quit all day with you!!!
Thanks and I am quit with you today also.....I remember 101 days ago when I was sitting in my hot tub, I still had to have a dip in. What a sad life it is when you are addicted to that bitch. Thank God and KTC that I have broke the chains. Quit on you BadAss.
^^^^^This is just big bunch of good shit going on right here. Congrats to Construction and all of the KTC badasses here.

  • Interests: I was addicted to nicotine for about 19 years before I actually realized that I was an addict to a drug. Allen Carr helped open my eyes with LionHeartedGirl (my sister). I am currently on day 2 and because of the frame of mind and different point of view that "The Easy Way" has given me, I don't doubt for one moment that I have ingested the last bit of that weed for the rest of my life. I am 35 now and am setting a goal of living long enough to have saved $100,000 because of my quit. At the same time, I am setting the goal of not smoking TODAY! One step at a time, while keeping my eyes on the horizon.

After 73 Days of being quit, I would like to pay a tribute to $1.99cents. Sure, he caved, posted roll only when he felt like it and had an attitude at times. But, today he posted a day 3 and wished all the November Skydivers a speedy HOF. My hat is off to you $1.99 and you can call on me for digits anytime my friend. Get back on the horse and do not look back at the bitch.
Man....did you bump your head??

I get that you want to encourage the guy for coming back from a stupid decision and caving, hell I've been there.

However you want to "pay tribute" and "tip your hat" to him, sorry I have a HUGE problem with that attitude.

I'm glad he came back too but I encourage him to man up, post everyday and stay quit. A cave is serious business, it demands tough love and accountability.

jlud, I am "not" making nasty comments on this board. You admit that it makes you mad when people cave. Well, it makes me mad when people lie. This site works because it brings out honor and accountability. Nothing else has even come close to the same effects as the KTC way of quitting for me and thousands of others. All of us are human and caves are inevitable, but lies should be avoidable at all costs. Just my .02.....
Make no mistake, I'm in your corner Construction. In regards to this older post, I only meant to convey that we should not allow a brother to return with a "pat on the ass" or "nice try". I just think that often it's taken too lightly.

We need to have "vigorant" quits, I think your a bad ass quitter C and continue to set a great example for your group. If we were closer we could Row Sham Bow for who buys the beers and call this minor feud dead. Virtual will have to do then.... QLF with you!

Isn't it amazing how great it is to take your life back? Going into month 2... Stress gets easier to deal with. Good food (like that brisket you made early on) starts tasting better. Your wife will be even more proud than she already is. And the goal of that horse farm seems even more beautiful without the cloud of poison in your body.

Keep vigilant! Things get easier now... The battle isn't constant, but rather an occasional shot from a sniper. You've got this... You've come so far!! Thanks for being an inspiration to me.
