Way to go, Misty! You can do this. Worry about yourself first, then deal with hubby. Post roll every day. Make that daily promise. Don't worry about tomorrow or forever. That's not how we roll here. Spend a lot of time on KTC. We'll help save your life one day at a time.

Welcome!

You CAN do this Misty. In addition to the hundreds of male quitters here we have quit a few female quitters too. This will not be easy, but the enormous amount of success here at KTC is proof that it can be done. No buckle down and do this. Post roll every morning and keep that promise for 24hrs. Wake up the next day and do it all over again. Do not think in terms of forever, that is way to much to comprehend. Quit one day at a time and you will be successful.

Finally quit 10/16/2011

After 16 years of dipping and smoking I am finally done with this crap! I'm tired of being too scared to go to the dentist because the bump that came up in my lip may be cancer, tired of the abcess teeth swollen gums, etc... I am a mother of two wonderful boys and have an awesome husband, who dips. I am hoping that he will quit with me, he is finally starting to cut down and chewing gum. This is something that he has to want to do so I am not pushing him. These past few days have been hell with all the withdrawls, lack of energy, upset stomach,etc... But I know it is worth it. I have been coming to this site for a few weeks now and reading some of the posts on here have helped me alot. Thanks for all ya'll do, if it weren't for this website I am not so sure I could put cigarrettes and dip behind me.
