As Mj said, we don't "try". We quit each day by posting roll; giving our word to ourselves, our group, and everyone else here that we will not sue nicotine today.

Advice - don't expect any miracles. You put poison in your system for years. That did a lot of damage. You're going to have to fight the craves one day at a time and learn to redo everything in your life without a dip in. I won't lie, it sucks, but it is worth the fight. It gets better, much better, with time.
Tools - gum, hard candy, coffee stirs, wet teabags, Atomic Fireballs, WATER, exercise, READ intros and HOF speeches, get involved in KTC and your group, etc.
