Just got my first real bad cravings since being nic free. Decided I'd just get on here instead of going to get a can. 4 Days in now, ODAAT.
Hell ya man that's what it's all about here. Drink lots of water seeds or fake stuff and troll here and keep your mind on the quit and not the can

Hows it going, man?

The first few days suck, but it gets better. Here's the good news... you'll never have to relive them again.

Post roll, keep your word. We will do anything to help you along the way. If you need a number or anything, shoot me a PM. This place will save your life, and it will improve it in a lot of ways that you won't expect. Yep... it will make you healthier, save you $$, but that is just the beginning. Nicotine is one big lie.

Nice to have you aboard.

Good job, Josh. As you are young and able to absorbe info, you may enjoy reading the article linked in my signature about how nicotine tricks our brain. That article seemed to make me mad and helped me with my quit during the early days.

Keep posting, exercise, eat extra fiber (oatmeal?), chew gum or seeds, and just quit one day at a time!

Great job posting josh! Gonna start having the mental games, no matter how bad anything gets remember you can do this. You're an addict just like the rest of us and that means there's no cure. Drink plenty of water. Exercise and deep breathing helps. Get to know guys on your group. Swap numbers and use them. Remember you're gonna be around nic every day probably. Don't romanticize about it, feel sorry for the dipshit and pay attention to how gross that shit really is. Learn to hate it! After all it damn sure didn't help you any only took a lot of your freedom away, and could have taken alot more. I dipped 38 years and tried to stop numerous times only to be a pathetic slave again. Then I, through the grace of God found Ktc. 600 day's later I'm still a free man! I do it by posting roll Early Edd ODAAT and giving and receiving advice. The key is posting roll Edd but worry about your quit ODAAT! Damn proud to be quit with you, see you on roll early in the morning!
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

Wow! I'm glad that you want to quit! You've found the right place to do so. :)

It takes 3 days to get the nicotine out of your system. After that it is a mental battle. Posting your promise here every day will help you win the battle. You really need to promise every day to the November 16 group. You will reach 100 days and beyond with them.

3 Days In
« on: August 18, 2016, 09:43:00 PM »
Hey everyone. I'm new to the community and I'm currently 72 hours quit for good. I'm a college baseball player and have been around dip for years now. I just recently started dipping a lot though, between a can and two cans a day for about 6 months. I've stopped twice before, the first time I only lasted 2 days and second time I lasted 3 weeks. The last three days haven't been anywhere near as bad as my first two quits and I began to wonder why it was so hard to quit before. As I approached 72 hours though, the withdrawals hit me and I remembered how much quitting SUCKS. The headaches, the brain fog, the lack of motivation. It all hit me like a train. So here I am posting. The first two quits I did it alone but now I know that I don't need to. I've told everyone I could this time around, holding myself accountable for my quit. Thanks for letting me post on here everyone. It's good to be around people that understand how hard the quit is and know what it takes.
