Today is day one. Been dipping for around 10 years, starting with Skoal for about 2, and the past 8 or so years has been Timberwolf straight using a can a day. Its just time I quit this crap. I have some herbal chew to try and help, but the few times I've used that today has totally sucked. Nothing like a good dip.
Don't know if its me just thinking about it too much, or if something is actually affecting me, but I feel anxious, a little wound-up. Can't concentrate at work. I usually would have had about 4-5 dips by now, and still can't stop thinking about it.
But I will quit. I won't use again.

Accept that your habit is deeply engrained in your thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes. It will take time to change.
Accept that cravings are temporary. Distract yourself, use fake chew, gum, seeds and after a few minutes they go away.
Get involved with others and their quits. It helps you and them.
