Houston,

You can kick this. All it takes is one simple promise to yourself and the folks on KTC to stay quit today. This has helped me make it though the last 7 seven days. Keep it up and don't be afraid to reach out. Surprisingly, it has taken me 12 years to realize that nicotine and tobacco have absolutely no positive effect on my life or the people around me. For some reason that didn't matter. Just typing that blew my mind. Congrats on making the decision to quit. Nicotine is not worth it.

Hello all, my name is Houston and I am a 20 year old college student from Louisiana. I stumbled across this site early in the evening after deciding to quit and tossing all of my cans, and have been reading the forums going on 3 hours! I have dipped about 2-3 cans a week since I was 15, and finally decided that I am tired of being controlled by nicotine. I have already purchased 10 cans of Bacc-off along with a few other varieties of tobacco alternatives and am excited to be nicotine free! While the thought of quitting is a scary one, by the looks of things I will be in good hands with you all! thank you in advance for your support!

Welcome, Houston. Well done, posting roll.

If you want to see something scary, take a good look at what not quitting looks like. Keep walking toward the life.
I couldn't have said it better! I am on day 11 and looking back on what I just went through and all the effort to get through it helps keep me motivated. It's gonna be tough Houston, you're gonna wanna cave, but you have come to the right place with people that will help!

Caving is never an option, do not give into the Nic Bitch! If you need anything PM people and get numbers to help get you through!
