at the end of tomorrow, when i haven't chewed, i just post roll in may 2018 correct?
Incorrect. Post roll in May 18 as soon as it rolls to the next day and you are awake. Make your promise to not chew and keep your word. ThatÂ’s all this place asks. DonÂ’t report at the end of the day your success. Get a number or two to check up on you and demand they hold you accountable. If you donÂ’t have any from your group, PM me and IÂ’ll send you mine if you need text support through the day in the early stages. If itÂ’s after midnight where you are and you havenÂ’t dipped today this far .. Post. If you have dipped, flush that shit and post. Repeat daily. Breathe brother ... you will do fine if you are a man of your word.

i am definitely serious. Last time i thought i could do it myself with nicotine on my own but it just didn't work and i now i understand why. I was dealing with a lot of personal issues but I've now made time without outside anxieties to make it a priority and i hope to god it works. Thank you!

So i was on this website almost a year ago and couldn't believe how great of a community this is. I have struggled endlessly to quit. I leaned back on nicotine lozenges and such throughout the last few months but always went back to the can. Tomorrow will be my day 1. I am getting used to the website again but if anyone can point me in the right direction of where to start with my "group", i would greatly appreciate it. I am dead set on quitting without any substitutions and not gonna lie, pretty damn scared of withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Thanks again!

Welcome back. May 2018 are your new best friends. Are you serious this time? DoesnÂ’t appear you made it past a day one in March of 2016. This is about quitting. You will not chew anymore ... one minute at a time if need be. Lots of support and wisdom here but if YOU donÂ’t support your decision and take it as a responsibility, you will FAIL. Reach out to the good folks here and we will be there. Read up, drink a lot of water, exercise, lay off any booze, and find some seeds or fake. White knuckle time sucker. YouÂ’ll live. Get some...

I patched for 30 days before I grew a set and ripped it off, so good on you for trashing the gum. Stay strong and soon it will be just a memory.

hey guys, its 3/25/2016 and i'm ready to quit. it's been about 10 years and a lot of failed efforts but i'm here and ready for whats ahead. Sick of the fear of cancer, sick of being a slave to the carcinogen and ready to turn over a new leaf. Thanks.
Congrats brother on the quit.
Many time we have tried to quit and failed, this site is a very useful tool/resource if you let it be.
I know I would have already returned to the Bitch if it had not been from the help of the BROTHERHOOD.
Hang in there it's gonna be a wild ride, but you can do it

I quit with you today.

Congrats on the best decision of your life! I am part of June Platoon, but that doesn't mean I wont help you out. Need anything, reach out to me or your fellow quitters. Drink plenty of water then drink more water like Irish said. Huzzah quitter!

yup...appreciate it. Just threw out the pack of nicotine gum. Ready to start.
Good move! Those nicotine tapers just extent the suck (the physical "where the hell is my nicotine" response) for the length of the tapers instead of the 72 hours for nicotine to wash out of your system.

Hang on, read the site, you found chat, it will get better!

You can get help here for sure.

You are going to be with the July2016 quit group.

http://www.killthecan.org/heres-how-you ... court-now/

that is a very helpful link to get you going down the right path.

But drink a lot of water and cranberry juice to flush that nic out of your system.
We post roll here everyday, no days off, weekends holidays, it's our promise not to use nic in any form.

I quit with you.
