Hey all,
I'm 36 and ridiculously addicted to dip (Grizz wintergreen pouches so I can hide it
). Picked up the habit when I was in the military. I even stood at the starting line of an Ironman triathlon this Summer with a lipper in and spit it out right when I started swimming. Ridiculous.
I'm a full time graduate student finishing a masters in accounting in May then starting with a large firm right afterwards. I really want to kick this addiction prior to starting my new career. My morning routine of a dip and coffee while I start studying turns into having a dip in all day and I've started to stay seated on the couch so I can keep dipping. Next thing I know I've been dipping all day except for when I'm eating.
I'm nervous about being a jerk to my Wife, classmates, and my school performance dropping. I keep telling myself to wait to quit until Winter break in December (have 30 days off), but I know pragmatically it's just another excuse to continue it.
Right now my plan is to ditch it on Monday after class and never look back.
