We've all been in your shoes Misc! You are most definitely in for some shitty days ahead 'bang head' 'bang head' 'bang head' but you'll come through them on the other side.

Make sure you have plenty of whatever the hell you need to put in your mouth to keep busy..... seeds, gum, fireballs, fake dip....Anything as long as it doesn't have nicotine in it and drink a ton of water!!!

Read everything you can on this site  post roll every single day. If I can figure it out, it must be pretty easy!!

Great decision. This will be pure, unadulterated, immortal hell. You have poisoned yourself for 28 years and now your body is gonna get really pissed when you stop as I am sure you are already experiencing. But it is so worth the pain to be free like all of us, and it gets better with time! I have already posted roll with you in the July group, figure it out and go do the same. If you have problems PM me and I will walk you through it. Listen, you can do this, you will do this, fuck you are doing this. We will quit with you.
I would rather lose to a cheater than win as a cheater.

Hi Everyone - Today is day one for me. I have been chewing for 28 years, and have tried the patches, gum and chantix numerous times in the past. I don't think any of it worked because I didn't have the right mindset at the time. Today I can say I will NEVER chew again. I found myself reaching for a can on my dresser as I walked to the backroom this morning when I rolled out of bed. Not only because of the addiction, but also out of habit. It wasn't there. Last night I dumped every can I had left. I went through all the normal hiding places; coat pockets, desk drawers, cabinets hidden behind cups and dishes, etc. I no longer have any Kodiak in the house, truck or hidden at work. I know this isn't going to be easy, but with your support, the support of my wife, and having the right mindset, I'm sure I can do it this time. Hopefully one day I'll be in a position to help others.
Misc,
congrats on day one! I'm at day 964.......yes we count them here! You quit one day at a time.

Get ready for a couple of days of suck! Embrace it......remember how bad you feel.......use that memory later if you think of caving........you don't want to go through this again.

Glad to be quit with you.......today.

Good start coming here...now lets work on today...just today...you don't know what the future holds, but you can quit for today. Never never is a long time...look out to forever and you'll be overwhelmed...look at today. Post your promise that you won't use today. Then repeat tomorrow.
