Welcome to the quit house. We do indeed know exactly where you are. I was there 512 days ago. I didn't know how I was ever gonna do it. These crazy bastards showed me the way. Here is a homework assignment for you. Learn what it means to "post roll". Do this religiously and you WILL be successful. You see abasa, we do not TRY here, we just DO. Read all you can on the site and get some phone numbers. Support and accountability is a MUST. I tried to quit MY WAY for the last 10 years or more. It NEVER worked. This is way brother. I quit with you today.

Welcome abasa, If you're serious about quitting you're definitely in the right place. Here at KTC we quit like fuck a day at a time, together.

Read over the welcome center:
forum/55560/

Your quit group will be September. Post roll everyday, early in the morning (no excuses here). That's your promise/commitment to us and to yourself that you will not use nicotine in any form (gum, patches, lozenges, chew, etc...) for the day (24 hours). Honesty is everything, to us and honesty to yourself.

Start gathering phone numbers and build your web of accountability. We will hold you accountable for your quit, and we expect you to hold us accountable as well. Actually text and/or call those numbers you get during good and bad times. Build your brotherhood - this will save your life!

Live Chat is a good place to connect, get numbers, shoot the shit...

If you can promise to keep the poison out of your face today I'll be happy to quit with you.
Send me a PM if you want a phone number to start your brotherhood and accountability. I'm here if you need anything.
Proud quitter of the August 2014 Spitter Quitters!

I feel it this time

Hello Everyone,

My name is Anton. I'm 29 years old and I have chewed tobacco since I was 17. I have tried to quit in the past but it was always by using some sort of aid; electronic cigarettes, lozenges, nicotine gum, etc. Last night was my last chew. It is almost 7pm and I have been going cold turkey all day. I truly feel that this time I will be done with tobacco forever. I have a beautiful wife and daughter, and we are discussing having another child in the near future. My bulletproof mentality of the past has faded and I realize that my addiction is slowy but surely killing me. I have never been a part of a forum in the past but I'm excited to be involved in a community of people that know the exact spot I am coming from.
