Bump. You want advice from thousands of people who have kicked the can, I think that is awesome. All we ask is a daily promise that you are nicotine free. Seems like a small time commitment to make for a wealth of knowledge, plus you might even make a friend, and save a life or two..........

I quit just over a month ago--August 4. I haven't had any cravings since. I was an occasional dipper off and on for four years but it started getting worse this past year, so I quit. But now I'm getting occasional sores in my mouth--they only look like canker sores, and I went to the Dentist two weeks ago and he said I was cancer free. But I'm still scared--I had none for weeks and suddenly I have two and a third one developing. Has anyone else experienced this?
Call your dentist and tell him the sores are still there (if it's been 2 weeks).

But, yeah. How did you quit without any withdrawals?
That happens a lot, like they are telling you, the only one who can verify its not cancer is a dr, but read this on symptoms of quit it might help ease some anxiety.
where you at Ghost? Let us know when flying solo gets you in trouble. KTC is built to handle the issues quitting solo cant handle. Like accountability, brotherhood, and one day at a time.

First things first.

Post roll and stay quit, because you sound like a guy who will go right back to using if you get a clean bill of health. I know those types of guys because I'm one of them. Actually, I was the type who dipped as much as possible before a dentist appt so that if I was told to see an oral surgeon, I knew I would have to quit and wanted to "get it out of my system first." -------dumbass addict logic that allows you to continue using the drug you're addicted to.

You can't make an appointment at 10:30 at night, so post roll now. Call dentist first thing tomorrow. Most likely nothing abnormal, but might as well be overly cautious when talking about your face and ability to chew and swallow.

So, go see a doctor choice one.
Or, quit. Post roll and read the answer within these walls.
