  • Interests: I was addicted to nicotine for about 19 years before I actually realized that I was an addict to a drug. Allen Carr helped open my eyes with LionHeartedGirl (my sister). I am currently on day 2 and because of the frame of mind and different point of view that "The Easy Way" has given me, I don't doubt for one moment that I have ingested the last bit of that weed for the rest of my life. I am 35 now and am setting a goal of living long enough to have saved $100,000 because of my quit. At the same time, I am setting the goal of not smoking TODAY! One step at a time, while keeping my eyes on the horizon.

Timbo, you missed posting roll yesterday and I don't see you on there yet today. Please, PLEASE tell me that it was just a bumped post that no one noticed. Brother, I already texted you. You are one of the 12 people that I have numbers for so you are in my small circle. I take responsibility for and with you. I quit with you. Tell me that you quit with me. Whatever you tell me, just make sure to make it the truth.

Timbo welcome to a brotherhood. I sent you a PM with another number, don't just save it, use it. Reach out to others in your group and get as many numbers as you can. Build accountability into your quit. I know your in pain and that is sucks, just stay the damn coarse it gets better!
I would rather lose to a cheater than win as a cheater.

Looks like you've been given plenty of instructions, so I'll just say this: there is NOTHING more important on your schedule today than posting roll with your HOF group. Do that every morning, religiously. Everything else is just details.

Timbo,

Glad to have another quitter join the ranks. KTC has a proven method... Post Roll, Keep word, and Repeat. Take the addiction one day at a time. If you post roll, and keep your word each day, forever will take care of itself. That is not to say it will be easy, that there wont be tough stretches. Quitting takes balls, but you made the first step and reached out to an awesome group of people that want to see YOU QUIT. Get involved, drink the kool-aide and drink it deep.

I will quit with you all day, everyday.

Timbo,
Welcome to KTC and congrats on the best decision you've likely ever made.

Quitting sucks...for awhile. No getting around it. No cheating it...just fucking sucks. But, if you embrace what this community has to offer, you will have an easier time than trying to do it on your own.

1. Get to know the site. Spend as much time on it as you can.

2. Learn how to post roll call and do so EVERY DAMN DAY!!.

3. Get to know some guys in you HOF group and reach out to them. Get to know them. We addicts are a barrel of laughs, I promise.

I am whsii (Bill). Feel free to PM me if you need to chat or are having a crave that is driving you bonkers. I'll get you off the roof! I promise.

Cheers and once again, welcome.

Welcome to KTC Tim. The most important thing is that you are quit, and you are posting roll. First days (weeks) will be the tough ones. Once you start adding on those +1's they will get better.

You have to won your quit and want it. Qutting takes balls, but I'll quit with you today.

Welcome to the site Tim. There is so much to read here on the subject you could literally spend months. The welcome center is a good place to begin, it will give you the basics.

Quitting is not easy, but it certainly can be done.

STAY QUIT
