Okay, got up this morning, had coffee, went to gym, came home, walked dog for 45 min., went to home depot, came home, put in 160 feet of bender board in backyard, shoveled and wheelbarrowed 8 yards of bark, built a 40 foot keystone retaining wall, 5 courses high (those fucking things are heavy!) on side of house. (Wife's idea and she helped a little.) At the end, 9 hours later, she came up on me, kissed me, and said it was nice doing that together without me chewing! I had not thought of it till she brought it up! Let's be clear here, I am 50, in so so shape, my back is sore, my hands are raw, I missed the SF Giants game, but I am free! I am happier than I can remember. My relationship with my wife is so great since I quit. She hated it more than she ever showed. She so deserves a clean Jerry. I have closed the fucking door on nicotine. All because of the daily promise I have made to all of you for 169 days without fail. I am so thankful for all of you. I know as long as I make my daily promise I cannot fail. I'm going to take a shitload of Advil, drink some vodka and mountain dew, crash, and post day 170 tomorrow! Peace to you all.
How do you take your coffee, and what the fuck is bender board?

Way to kick ass. Keep it up!!!
Really good stuff Jerry. Keep it going.
I'm thinking a bender board is some kind of edging material. Way To be Rdad, you are an ass kicking vodka and mtn dew head.
Great post, rdad. Keep kicking ass. Proud to quit with you today.
Great stuff in here rdad. Well done! Proud to be quit with you today!
You da man rdad. Well done!
That, my friend, is what I would call quit serenity at its finestÂ…and I bet that feels infinitely better than any buzz nicotine ever gave you. You are free and able to be high on life. Way to go brother.
What a post Rdad! Your quit is a real inspiration. And vodka and Mountain Dew- think I'll try it and start calling it an Rdad.
This is the kind of quitting we do in March 2014. Proud to be quit with ya Jerry.
Freedom! Great post Jerry! You have earned it brother.
Nice work Jerry! You got this. 'oh yeah'
Fish, eat, sleep. Repeat.

From one 50 to another, we can still kick ass! And the kisses from the wives get even sweeter. Always good to have a day long sweat.
