80 days!  You're settling into your new way of life-- freedom! Ain't it GREAT?!?!?!
Yes it is great, congrats on your freedom!
Send me a pic of your Higas S.O.S. when you get a chance, I'd like to see it.
I will T Cell! Its kind of a "souped up" zebra midge. Its been working for me this winter. (and I'm by no means John Geirach) 'crackup'
Did you tie it yourself? Always wanted to give that a whirl.
Yea Sluggo
I am trying to catch trout on flies I tie myself. That's probably a big reason why I don't catch very many fish. That, and the fact that I'm not that good at it. But I sure do like walking around trying. I can tie pretty good nymphs, terrestrials and streamers but its the hackled up dinky dries that give me fits. I just buy those. 'crackup'

This is a reminder to me and for any newbies that might be reading in my thread. Just a quick story about my day 77. I did buy 12 rolls of fake chew when I first joined as the vets were always talking about using all our "tools to stay quit" So I put a can of this fake in all my frequent places. Desk, Truck, Golfbag, Fishing Vest, ect.... Up Until today I had not used any. I wanted to try to get over all phases of this addiction at once.

This morning working on a bid at work I was hit by a massive desire to have something in my lip instead of fucking sunflower seeds. I tried to wait it out but for some reason I became fixated on it and finally had to throw in a fakie. I can tell you things may have gone differently for me had I not been prepared. There is a convenience store 100' from my office. It was pretty easy to wait it out with the fake stuff and by jumping online to read all the congrats for grizclaws and above all not wanting to throw away the past 77 days because of one weak moment.

The point is use your tools, be prepared, and never get complacent. I was in the middle of a stretch of 2-3 weeks of feeling great, with very few weak craves. Todays was different and took me by surprise. Hopefully just another last gasp of the dying bitch. Quit on Quitters!
THAT is how you quit my friend. NAFAR. And you know what, nowÂ…you get to post number 78 tomorrow.

I forget where I read this and who said it, "you'll never wake up the next morning saying, I wish I caved yesterday"
Way to keep the tools sharp rdad. You might not need to use a quit tool ever or for long stretches, but you better have your toolbox full just in case. I have never had to slam a desk drawer on my junk to kill a crave, but I am ready to!

You might be in for a few more rough spots before the HOF so keep your head on a swivel. You are killing it brother!
