I told Pinched the other day I am following his thread cuz it makes my quit stronger but then I PM-ed him back and admitted it was really because of his avatar. that's so funny you said that. I am glomming on to all your posts too Neon. Very inspirational. This is some good shit for sure.

I went in "my" Chevron this morning where I used to buy my logs of Husky every third day. I plopped a can of V-8 on the counter and the guy I know opened the back counter. (That's were they kept the shit they ordered special for me cuz nobody else carried it. They probably bought it by the case.)
I told him just the V8 and he could stop ordering my "Blue Husky". I walked out to my truck feeling like the baddest man alive.

Hey Nic Bitch... Eat those Cookies!
oh man, if you like Pinched's avatar then you need to check out MikeA, OneImpressiveBall or even Grizzly25 and there are many more.....HA

Anyway what a great victory and you should be walking tall and proud after that....

I did the same thing early in my quit... I would read this site non-stop and it really helped solidify my quit. You are doing this. You are one quit MFer.
rdad, you ROCK. This site and the support system are... I dont have a word, it blows my mind. It's lifesaving. It's increadible. I love reading thru the intros, because I can relate to everything, we are all fighting the same fight together.

Then Pinched has to post and I loose focus for like 15 minutes watching things bounce around...

Every couple hours at work I get on the site to read for a few minutes and before I know it 2 hours have gone by and I've accomplished nothing at work but it sure does make my quit stronger. I feel like right now I cant get enough of this. I guess I have subconsciously been very thirsty for this. The coolest thing is reading post after post of thousands of people and I can relate to every single bit of it. It just reinforces that fact that even though we are individually responsible for our own quits ,it is so strengthening and comforting to know there are thousands of brothers and sisters here who are going through and have successfully passed through the exact same thing I am doing right now.

I cant say enough how thankful I am for KTC!

Jerry
It is quite amazing and reassuring that someone else has walked that trail first or that you can help guide someone along the way isn't it?

I am glad you joined the brotherhood, there of several of you March quitters that are helping mix the KTC Kool-aide of late and that is great to see. Keep quit and and keep adding one day at a time.
I love your attitude rdad. I have great news for you. You are winning. Scoreboard nic bitch. Scoreboard. Anytime you have a bad ass like pinched on your team it definitely helps too. I quit like you do. One day at a time.
Great outlook. I use this site the same way you are describing, even at 224 days. You are really working hard to fortify your quit. Keep it up! Proud to be quittin with you!
I would rather lose to a cheater than win as a cheater.

Another dip wall smashed down tonight. Went to kings-Lakers game with 2 friends who both dip. No problem. Ate peanuts and drank about 10 bottled waters. Had a great time, my mouth is clean, my quit is intact and one of my buds was curious about how I am doing this. I spent almost the whole 4th quarter taling about KTC and you guys!

At least he will know where to go right when he is ready. I was an idiot and did my first 12 days alone. I'm just really thankful that I did end up here. This place is saving my life.
You're doing it. keep doing it, doing it, doing it every a.m. your feet hit the floor.
ODAAT and NAFAR brother.
Cheers.
Well done and make sure that you remember this huge victory for yourself.

refer to it when you get that downward feeling/funk, to show that you are able to fight through some harder times.

I quit today with you, standing right beside you up against our common enemy.
Well done rdad. Feels good not being a slave doesn't it.
