spend day 10 fishing and stayed true to my quit. I could feel that nic bitch looking at me but I shook that shit off. Posting roll in the mornings helps keep me focused and on target through out the day. QLFEDD
Awesome way to enjoy the day! I agree, there's nothing like posting roll in the morning. Just a quick simple promise, but definitely keeps a guy on target through the day!

Fishing without dip can be a tough hurdle at first. But with a bad ass quitter like you it was more like a bump in the road. The best thing to do is keep taking it one day at a time. Post Roll and be a man of your word. Which you are definitely doing. You will see how amazing it is to do things without nicotine. Keep up the good work and keep your head on a swivel. That nic bitch will show up unannounced.

Your doing great brother. I waited three weeks to go fishing when I first began this journey. I use to think fishing and dipping were the same thing.

It was hard for me to get out there without the poison for the first time. After I did get out there I found that fishing and the poison were not the same. I found that I could cast just as well without it. I found that I could catch or not catch just as well without it. The boat surely didn't need it.

Also don't worry about the end of the trip. You'll still be able to exaggerate your catch by a few pounds. Maybe even add a couple of fish to the story. I personally wouldn't know anything about that though.

Now when i'm out there I enjoy it more than ever. Next time your out there take a look at the world without nicotine running through your blood. We were desensitized by a drug that didn't care anything about feeling and emotions. Darn glad to be quit with you. Keep your head pointed forward,, Nothing back there for you but a filthy disgusting tin of poison...

The poison sucks. I hate it. I hated it this morning, I hated it at noon, I hated it at supper and I hate it tonight. I enjoy hating it so much I'm going to wake up tomorrow and start over hating it. I quit with anyone that wants to hate it with me.

finishing up day 6 and the anxiety is a bitch. been dipping a can of cope a day for over 25 years. wife and kids never sweated me about quitting but i'm tired of having this monkey on my back. tomorrow is a week clean!
the anxiety IS a MF.. it does get better. But if you need to don't hesitate to see a doctor about it.

I was OBSESSSING about health issues. when i quit. If that is what you have going on i can relate.

My GP put me on a medication to help and it did.

It gets a lot better.

If quittin was easy everyone would be doing it. It's hard as hell. Embrace the suck. You never want to go through this again.
One week.... YES!!!! That is a huge accomplishment. One I never had until I found this place.
KC is right (he often is) Enjoy that you with every crave you have, you are doing something most people can't do. QUITTING

nicely done on the week clean!

Anxiety was a problem for me also. Just remember nicotine cannot fix any issues you are having.

STAY QUIT!
