No problem, the weekend morning was sure rougher than I thought. Sounds like the football game was a good positive experience though with the other Dads, so hope that carries through to your evening to make it less rough.

Fake chew indeed, that's been a big help for me this week when I get to a cave moment. They're not bad to get through, but my head probably isn't where it needs to be to actually be successful yet, so having a tool sure helps.

Thanks for asking. Rough in the morning. Got better in the afternoon. Probably rough again tonight. Fake chew, seeds and peppermints baby! Went to my youngest sons football game this afternoon. Was telling a couple of the other dads that dipped about my quitting. Made me feel pretty good. It was almost too hot to dip. Gotta love the dog days in the Deep South.

I agree with Derk - avoid alcohol early on in your quit. Alcohol has killed more quits than anything on earth. If you can't avoid it, limit yourself to 1. If you start having 3-4 or more, you will be jones'ing HARD for a dip, and even if you can resist, why put yourself thru that. You gotta care for your quit always, but especially so in the early stages.

Don't mean to sound like your daddy, I'm just trying to help, bro.

Tonight was a bitch. A stressed day at work, football practice, pulled pork and bud lights make me want a £%?*^#¥? dip!!!!!!!!!!
You didn't want a dip, the Nic Bitch tried to tell you that you needed one and you told her to F-off...

You are getting close to the point that the nicotine is out of your system which is good. The bad part is that fact that your body is used to working with nicotine in it- so it's about to really fight you. Day 4-7 was the hardest for me so get ready to strap them on and fight.

The good news is the fact that you are a man of your word and you promised a lot of people that you will never dip again. Use the tools available to you the next several days.

This all gets better really quickly. I felt 99% better at 30 days and my craves are just little nagging one's for the most part now.
Good job. Your going to have some rough days brother,, a few of them. There is only one thing I care about during those long hard days. YOU HONOR YOUR WORD!!!!

Your in for a rough few days,, but you can do this. You got some great quitters in your corner. Make sure you got some numbers available. If you need another shoot me a pm.
Nice job last night. Get in and post roll today... Remember you are early on, so be careful with the Bud Lights. Lowers inhibitions and your resolve. Keep battling Bama!

The poison sucks. I hate it. I hated it this morning, I hated it at noon, I hated it at supper and I hate it tonight. I enjoy hating it so much I'm going to wake up tomorrow and start over hating it. I quit with anyone that wants to hate it with me.

As for your body freeking out...embrace it. That is the feeling of recovery. Think of it this way...you GET to feel this shitty because you CHOSE to quit. Quitting is a privilege reserved to those who have the guts to do it. There are no short-cuts and nobody can do this for you. It doesn't matter who you daddy is or how much money you have. If you want to be free, you must earn it. And it sure as shit sounds like you're earning today!!! Congrats, brother!!!
This is a great way of saying things, thanks!

Use all or any part of what I say...might want to edit it and improve it first.

It's kind of funny actually. While she IS making me all dizzy and foggy, I'm laughing in the back of my mind knowing that the reason I feel this way is because I've finally taken control. I still look like a dumbass spitting this fake chew in a plastic bottle, but I'll get there.

I know that each and every day will be unique and have it own little challenges. Tomorrow is gonna be a bitch, I already know it. But I also know (regardless of how my body is freaking out today) that I've got this beat TODAY. I made that promise this morning.
