Sounds good, but the price is a little steep. The herbal chews aren't wonderful but they have the relative taste of tobacco. Mint chew is not recommended. It looks and tastes literally like shit. Plus you have a baby shit green spit. It's nastier. But the Cinnamon flavor is actually not bad. Best thing to do is to find whatever suits your taste and needs.

Cool find, thanks for sharing. So these are like Bandits, little pouches? Interesting.
I dipped straight coffee grounds at one desperate point in the quit, and it packed a little punch.
After I ran out of the herbal snuff I went to the coffee grounds regularly for a couple weeks as my dip alternative. Save money since I was using the already brewed beans. Didn't get much of a caff buzz but then I'm always taking in so much caffiene I likely wouldn't notice anyway.

I ran into the same thing here. I could not find any fake stuff locally so had to order it. I used smokey mountain chew for my crutch. I used it every day for a while then just stopped one day. I will get a can every now and then if I know I can going to be around my "triggers" but I have not had a fake dip since Jan.

Congrats and keep up the QUIT!

Pretty easy to order. Paypal was the only choice for payment. I ordered a 3 can pack of each flavor, and shipping was $4.95 total. Total of $24.95 for 6 cans.

We will see if it scratches the itch.

My lovely wife pointed this out to me after see a blurb in this week's ESPN magazine.

Grinds - Developed by 2 former Baseball players

This is from their website: http://www.getgrinds.com/

"Grinds was designed and developed in 2009 to provide an energy boost and healthy alternative to tobacco. Each can contains 20 pouches of flavored coffee, designed to deliver that quick kick to get you going any time or place. Whether you're on the field or in the office, there's never a bad time to Grind It Out.

No nicotine. No tobacco. No BS. Just good old fashioned raw energy that's ready anytime you are. Start Grinding People."

I love coffee and caffeine, so I believe I will give these a try and report back.

3 cans for $9.99. 2 flavors - Mocha and Chocolate Mint.

Winding down Day 5.

Three days is huge!!! Congrats. No going back...you're living Nic Free, Bro!!!

The fake stuff is a great crutch. The rule is, anything goes as long as it is nic free. (I recommend some limit on "anything" but that is up to you).

I'm on day 51 and still using the fake stuff round the clock. It has made all the difference :)

After 3 days the nicotine should be out of the system and it's all head games from here on out... and you can beat the voices in your head, right?
Don't give in and you wont ever have to feel this way again!

p.s. the first week is the hardest, then it gets better each day- hang in there!

Your body is a walking talking clusterfuck until it lears to deal with itself without the nic-bitch. That said, if you feel you need to see a doctor, then you should see a doctor. Couldn't hurt, and he can pat you on the back for your decision to quit.

Thought so. Never snorted anything.

The only thing I read was that nictine increases mucus, phlem (sp?), etc. Now that the nic is gone could that have a affect? Who knows.

Thanks for the knowledge.

Just had a massive nosebleed, and I cannot recall the last nosebleed I had (had to be when I was a kid).  Took about 20 minutes to stop the gushing.  My T-shirt looks like I have been in a Tarantino film.

May be a stupid ?, but any reason why this would be related to the quit?  Is this a known symptom or anyone else experience this?

I am just ending Day 4.

Would not question it except for the fact that I have not had a nosebleed in 20 years.

Or maybe I am just paranoid.
I'm not a licensed medical doctor but I have been known to play gynecologist at times. Shouldn't be related to your quit unless you were snorting traditional snuff. Might be pollen, dry air, anything.

Welcome. Check your (Inbox 1) upper right corner of your screen. Learn what it means to post roll.

If you can give your word and keep it, everything else will work itself out.

Hang in there man. I'm finishing up my Day 7. Headaches, major cravings, emotional ups and downs, insomnia, being a grumpy bastard, going from freaking great to freaking pissed in 0.01 seconds, going from clear to cloudy thought, the FOG, just put it this way we don't call it the SUCK for nothing. Embrace 'THE SUCK" cause thats the feeling of healing. Just remember how bad this sucks going through this and that you never wanna turn to the nic bitch again. Apply everything you have to your quit. Your gonna need all your resolve and motivation for this one. Be truthful to yourself and to our brotherhood. No nic of any form, post roll everyday to keep yourself accountable, hell PM me and I will give you my number if you would like to have someone to text or call. Hang tough and stay quit!

Thanks, team. I know that it is going to be rough (I quit at about age 25 for an entire year), but I do not remember the physical and mental symptoms being this bad.

It is good to know that others out there that understand.

Glad I found this place.
